He's working in a kebab shop last I heard, he doesn't need itI’m calling it that Casemiro is inheriting his No.5 shirt

They need both of them, especially if they're losing Paqueta.Feck. That might mean they won't come back in for McTominay
Heavily overpaying??? Are these lads ok?Quotes from West Ham fans:
.
Rough morning...
If he was delusional, he'd have stayed at United for what is likely to be a higher salary than West Ham will pay.Good riddance.
He's delusional. Simply not good enough and should never have been captain.
I know, they sell Rice for £100m and think they're over paying for Maguire...Heavily overpaying??? Are these lads ok?
Bravo.End of an error
You don't have to be negative all the time. Not believing this until it's signed, sealed and delivered. We will never be rid of him.
Well, West Ham haven’t spoken to him yet I don’t think. He still has to accept the moveIf he was delusional, he'd have stayed at United for what is likely to be a higher salary than West Ham will pay.
Didn't have to use your AKThe nightmare is finally almost over.
Today is a good day.
They wouldn't have bid if they didn't think they could get him. They've already spoken to his agent and agreed terms.Well, West Ham haven’t spoken to him yet I don’t think. He still has to accept the move
You genuinely think they won't have had any discussion?Well, West Ham haven’t spoken to him yet I don’t think. He still has to accept the move
It’s ridiculous, what a way to exist. You don't have to be negative all the time.
I think he will reject the move. That's a fair opinion. You don't have to be negative all the time.
You think West Ham have wasted the last two weeks and countless hours making bids and discussing payment terms with United because they haven't checked if Maguire wants to move and will accept terms first?I think he will reject the move. That's a fair opinion.
He is 100% accepting this move, imo. His United career is over. If he hasn't already come to terms with that, he will do now that this bid has been accepted.Well, West Ham haven’t spoken to him yet I don’t think. He still has to accept the move
Fair opinion, maybe, but obviously stupid and negative, yep.I think he will reject the move. That's a fair opinion.
He believed he was going to "fight his way" back into the starting eleven. All this despite a left back being ahead of him in the pecking order. If he was delusional, he'd have stayed at United for what is likely to be a higher salary than West Ham will pay.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's stupid and negativeFair opinion, maybe, but obviously stupid and negative, yep.
Footballers go to Greek islands all the time, let alone with their partner and family. Such a bizarre criticism.Yeah, to a popular tourist destination (Santorini) where everyone in Europe knows who he is, and then was just rocking up to restaurants and bars full of drunk brits and Greeks like no one would recognise him.
Of course he didn't.He believed he was going to "fight his way" back into the starting eleven. All this despite a left back being ahead of him in the pecking order.
It's obvious Ten Hag has had to clear things up for him.
I'm suggesting that when you're a very famous footballer, you shouldn't go to a very popular tourist destination and hang out with the rest of the drunks. There's nothing wrong with going to Greece but if you're that famous you should pay to go to the places where the drunks aren't, otherwise you're going to end up getting yourself into trouble.Footballers go to Greek islands all the time, let alone with their partner and family. Such a bizarre criticism.
They would get recognised literally everywhere in Europe. Are you seriously suggesting they can’t go and have a meal with their family on holiday?
I've been told Paqueta is sellable but it'd need to be an extraordinary bid. My guess is probably Rice levels given he has a very long contract still, is a decent age as well. They need both of them, especially if they're losing Paqueta.
It's going to be very solid, set piece based football and probably highly ugly, but probably effective as well.So West Ham will have Maguire as CB and McTominay plus Edson Alvarez from Ajax in midfield? Feck me. I would need bleach for my eyes after every match.
So many possible candidates:So, who's going to be booed next ?
I believe you, it's just that for an Ajaxsupporter that is the stuff of nightmares. It's going to be very solid, set piece based football and probably highly ugly, but probably effective as well.
Our big problem is goals though imo.
I'm willing to take a friendly wager WHUM will push for EL places this season. Maguire will be very good in their system, as will JWP. Deep line defence, lots of set piece danger, target man up front, I always said Rice got so much protection in that team from how they played and I am interested to see how he does at a much more offensive team like Arsenal. Conversely I think JWP will be excellent for them if he goes, can run a midfield, has the obvious ability from set pieces and where he lacks the marauding runs and power that Rice had he is comfortably a better passer. I actually think Alvarez - JWP - Soucek will be hell to play against for us this season. So West Ham will have Maguire as CB and McTominay plus Edson Alvarez from Ajax in midfield? Feck me. I would need bleach for my eyes after every match.
Pfft Maguire's ball playing, linking up with an Ajax midfielder? I'm expecting total football. So West Ham will have Maguire as CB and McTominay plus Edson Alvarez from Ajax in midfield? Feck me. I would need bleach for my eyes after every match.
