I would be happy to have him here - but the question is - why would Chelsea be happy to let him go? Who is the next choice LB after Chilwell? Doesn’t this reduce their depth at LB?
I rated him very highly at Brighton. To me he was one of the league best players outside the top six and would have fit in perfectly at City. Every Chelsea supporter I know consider him not very good after last season, maybe its just a case of a player walking into a terrible situation and getting caught up in it.
Not the first or the last player that will go to Chelsea and lose their way. The Brighton player was probably the best in the league and didnt read much to suggest that Chelsea overpaid at the time....

Bullshit. It was pretty much universally agreed Brighton pulled out pants down and got us to overpay for Cucurella. City were after him and their price ceiling was around £35-40M which was more in line with his value at the time.

Cucu is only a loan though. Don't know what's people issue is with that. He is only here as an emergency cover for Malacia and Shaw. It's not like we are signing him permanently. Mount(as much as I don't rate him and don't think he is what we need) and Cucu were bad only last season.
