Well, effort is the minimum that should be expected, and he clearly was struggling. Guess that is similar in training.

72 million squids and he can't get excited enough for a Man Utd Vs Arsenal game.

Man needs to look for another job really. I don't think football is giving him joy.
It's making him unfathomably rich, though. I just hope the Saudis pick up the tab sharpish.

If he doesn't want to be here, then I'm happy for the club to move him on. We don't need hangers on.

Erik protected him last season and now he’s calling him out. Probably he has had enough of the player? Too rich while being too young, there is always a lack of motivation to do more. It happens to some footballers

Hes probably pissed off hes played as a no 9 all pre season and then barely been given a kick and Martial has been wank

Saying that though another player the manager clearly wants rid of and the club can’t get it done.

Not exactly surprising. Can't fault ETH for that. He gave him enough chances already.

His time here is clearly up. Hope we manage to salvage a few million quid for him.

Sadly another (up and coming) class player about to be buried in the footballing graveyard that is Manchester United. Obivously he doesn't have the ability or mentality to make it here, but feck me the list of promising players failing here in the last 10 years is getting long.

So is there mental health issues or is it a case of he can’t be bothered? Wasn’t there stories about him in Dortmund being easily distracted and not completely focused on football?

Purely speculating here but maybe he’s one of those players where football is seen as a job and not a passion? (a trait that doesn’t bode well at elite level)
If it's a known mental health problem, then there's no way ETH comes out with those comments. Doesn't seem like the strongest character mentally (or physically). I suspect it's more a lack of drive, maybe too laid back and that comes across in how he plays too. Compare him to Antony, and for all his flaws that's a player that brings intensity and is willing to fight on the pitch. Sancho seems a pretty timid character and perhaps the pressure of playing in the PL and for United is just too much for him.

Miserable signing. Not up to it mentally or physically. Dortmund is the best place for him to coast through. No pressure, no expectation of winning anything, playing mediocre teams 90% of the time.

Flat track bully

To think many wanted us to pay well over £100m for this guy. What a joke.

sancho probably knows whatever he does in training or on the pitch he won't ever be selected ahead of ETH's son Antony
ETH benched Antony for Sancho last season for a run of games Sancho was shite and even worse didn’t do the required pressing and tracking back. Garnacho is ahead of him if he was good he would play

How do we always end up with the laziest least enthusiastic players around?

Bigger waste of money than Maguire. How do our scouts/management keep getting it wrong year after year, utter incompetency from top to bottom.

Imagine not being motivated for a United vs Arsenal game whilst pocketing 300k a week

The club is fecked from top to bottom

I would offer him to Brighton next summer as some sort of part exchange for Ferguson or Gilmour.

The worst part is, we’ll sack Ten Hag before he gets sold and then we’ll stuck with him under 3 different managers
Yep. So predictable like with other players. Story of us for the last ten years.

He reminds me of Ozil, so talented but too laid back and timid most times. At least prime Ozil was dishing out assists and goals for his teammates

If we wanted 45 million pound for McTominay, you can bet Sancho is going nowhere for a long time.
Yeah. There's no way anyone is coming in for him with a bid anywhere close to that. He's too expensive and hasn't been putting in the performances. Meh. What an awful signing this has been.

Poor Brighton. I think they’d rather take a punt on some lad from the Argentinian second division
On the contrary I think he could become rejuvenated there. But he’s just not fit for a big club.

I think he attitude is in question mostly. Staying up late, not following instructions, not making certain sacrifices etc. he just doesn’t have it to get the best out of himself.

And to think ten hag has done so much for him. Shielded him, gave him ample time, sent him away from the limelight to focus on his fitness and training and ultimately he lets him down. What a douchebag.
