do you think his @ is real whatever because they're just copying realdonaldtrump, a relic of a time before twitter had blue checks of any kind?
Wouldn’t surprise me. The image of Pence & the water bottle incident springs to mind.

Even though Trump botched the UAW strike badly, while Biden sided with union workers, somehow Trump is leading in Michigan, latest poll by a big 5 points.

One would think that Biden should be getting a bump in this state for doing the right thing, but i guess Trump just gains support no matter what he does.

Seems to me everyrthing is pointing to Trump's victory although there's still some time till the elections?

I have no idea how the elections are going to go and polls have always been a bit off the results. But I have a feeling if the republicans hadn't made abortion illegal in their respective states they would have had a very good chance of winning next year. Biden just looks/acts like a zombie while Trump looks same as before.

We're an eternity away from the elections, so don't pay attention to head to head polls until next summer when we should know whether Trump and Biden will be the actual matchup.

Only a year away, and right now it looks like the US is sleepwalking towards another disastrous Trump presidency in which he will be more decisive in dismantling democracy this time around. I think the Dems have to oust Biden and run a younger candidate, maybe Newsom.

That was one of the main reasons why Trump was elected in the first place, to make that happen and he touts that to this day as one of his big things he did, ironically it's also an issue that where his current view is at odds with many on the right

Supposedly, according to all these polls anyway, Trump's numbers will drop significantly when/if convicted of something.

Thats something I don't understand, people who already support him are just going to call it a witch hunt and continue to support him, who are all these people who still support him, but have convictions as the breaking point?

I don't think this group of people really exists, honestly.

Because a lot of people still think innocent until found guilty, you need to understand that for some, voting Trump is because he's not Biden (or a Democrat) but they'll draw the line at voting for an actual convicted criminal

1 year for the elections. 1 year where Biden will look even more senile while Trump will desguise being more senile being trump. Because he looked already not in shape in 2016

He is light years further eroded.

Trump circa 2015 was rather ebullient & enthused, much further along in vitriol & enthusiasm than today.

Oh I am sure about that, but he covers it up with the most batshitcrazy tirades and that is what people seems to not only no refuse but like and this energic vitriol covers also his mental decline unlike Biden

I think a lot of people are still denying what should be apparent by now.

Rightly or wrongly, the Democrats will be in trouble if they run with Biden in 2024. He is losing a lot of independent votes from people I talk to.

Does anyone listen to the Pod Save America podcast?

I've noticed a significant change in tone from those guys over the last few months surrounding Biden. I think they know they're in big trouble if Biden runs.

Is the doomsday thinking around Biden really warranted at this moment? Things can change fast.

He doesn’t have a tenth the liveliness as before, the vitriol has abated significantly.

For what reasons?

Nothing to see here…

Had to look up what The Florida Standard was. Not shocking to find:
"Funded by / Ownership
The Florida Standard lacks transparency as they do not clearly state who owns them. Will Witt is listed as the Editor-in-Chief and is the presumed owner. Mr. Witt claims to be a “national bestselling author and international speaker.” He also is the host of PragerU’s Man on the Street Podcast. The website does not appear monetized now, and funding is not straightforward."

So, basically, religious right wing nutters run the place, so that tweet makes sense.

A pro-DeSantis astroturf site basically.

Desperate times & all that.

I believe Newsom is a much better debater than the robotic Ron. If I were Ron, I wouldn't participate in, let alone promote, this.
Agreed. Newsom would smoke DeSantis, whose only schtick seems to be anti-wokeism, vaccine denial, and squabbling with Disney.
