Arsenal haven't had a clean sheet since I got Saliba in.

Not the answer you'll want to hear but I'd roll the transfer. Home to united is a decent fixture, Watkins and Porro both away
I'm leaning towards getting Watkins. I sold him for Darwin way before others thinking the same stuff that his fixtures are much better and this time he got minutes as well but he's just not getting any output. While Villa are looking great as well and having Brentford who lost to Sheffield.

What to do with this...

Areola Dubravka
Trippier Porro Gabriel Tsimikas Kabore
Salah Son Martinelli Gordon Palmer
Alvarez Haaland Archer

£2.7m in the bank. No brainer move of Martinelli to Saka tonight before he rises? Only other one that appeals is Watkins/Solanke in for Alvarez.

I'll probably need a -4 to get Watkins in 18 as I'll be priced out but I don't mind binning Tsimikas that week anyway.

Depends what your plan is with Alvarez? If you are not carrying him through the blank then might as well sell already. And you can take the hit now instead of later to get Saka in if you wanna save value.

I sold Alvarez and Salah to get Haaland back, and left VC on Garnacho as it didn’t even occur to me that Haaland might not play.

All the effort to catch up in my MLs gone in one week.

So you'd do Watkins and Saka in tonight? Yeah I wasn't planning on carrying him through the blank but this potential Haaland injury is giving me pause for thought...

Same. Not sure whether to wait and take the price hits.

Think I'll get Watkins tonight. That transfer needs to happen anyway.

If the long term plan is to get Saka and Watkins then just do it. Haaland injury is annoying but city will be worse without him and he might not be out for long. If you had to choose, Saka should come in first. Watkins has been quiet lately and has away fixture whilst Saka has home fixture against a team that can't keep clean sheets.

Which is why I think I'll just do Saka in tonight. Martinelli has to go and if Haaland injury is longer term I won't need a hit to get Watkins in.

And that's without knowing what the Son situation is either.

There's very few players I'm actually keen on bringing in at the minute and that's not to say those in my squad are doing well as they're stinking the place out too.

Areola Dubravka
Gabriel Porro Tsimikas Guehi Taylor
Salah Saka Gordon Palmer Mbuemo
Haaland Watkins Darwin

Probably looking at Guehi, Mbuemo and Darwin out over the next couple of weeks but not that sure where I'm going with it. Whether to bring in TAA/Trippier in defence or Bowen/Son in midfield. Striker will probably be a cheap enabler, Mubama/Archer. One I am quite keen on long term is Branthwaite in defence

What should I do?

Bring in Dubravka or Sanchez (for Raya)?

Do the above GW17 and then Watkins for Alvarez GW18... Or do the striker swap GW17 and the GK swap GW18?

Chelsea have Sheff Utd next week, so I'd probably want Sanchez in there.
Then Watkins comes in for SU the week after, having Brentford away next week.

Logic makes sense, might be utterly sh!te advice, as per my last few decisions!

Agreed. That's the logical move.

Current team, 2.5m ITB:

GK: Dubravka, Turner
DF: Gabriel, Tsimikas, Guehi, Udogie, Coufal
MF: Saka, Salah, Bowen, Son, Palmer
CF: Watkins, Darwin, Alvarez

Is it too early to make transfers, considering there are continental fixtures for some teams too ?

I’m close to taking a -4 hit to go triple on Newcastle at home against Fulham, but I am also considering having three Chelsea assets this GW for the Sheffield(H) fixture.

Most possibly it will be Son and Guehi out for Gordon and Trippier and then for GW18 I will be looking to add some Chelsea players as they have favourable fixtures even after GW17.

Also, if I transfer one of my defenders and Salah out for Colwill and Sterling in GW18, with those two transfers from GW17, I will have enough funds and flexibility to bring Haaland back later in the season.

But is it all worth it to take -4 hit two gameweeks in a row anyway ? Or should I decide to target one of those fixtures in GW 17, for example Fulham(H) and then bring one by one assets from Chelsea, avoiding another hit ?

I know Chelsea is not the surest bet in the world at the moment, but at some point of the season they have to start performing better and it would represent a great differential value, especially in my mini leagues.

Any thoughts or advice will be helpful. Cheers and good luck.

The big question is whether to make the early move today to avoid price loss or what for more information on guys like Son and Haaland?

If any of them are out I'd rather move them and keep someone like Darwin as at least he's fit to play

Who all are moving tonight?

19 from 4, becoming 34 from 5 once Haaland officially doesn't play.

All 3 subs played already, Archer was named first and the highest scorer with 2 so I got that bit right.

Need Lascelles and Brathwaite to get 1 point each to justify my defensive selections.

No Haaland!
Checks first sub...Tsimikas.

At least some don't have Salah in my league though so could get spanked now he's hitting a 26 pointer.

If this is true then might as well transfer him out and keep Alvarez instead. Haaland is still £14m so no price issues. Can rock a front 3 of Alvarez, Solanke, Watkins for a few weeks.
