This son of btch should be kept away from our games and football in general. Tried his best again to give a silly red card for one of our players and had no opportunity so decided to do it in a most ridiculous manner.

I’m actually surprised he didn’t give Liverpool a comical penalty in the dying minutes. That’s what he likes to do when he’s officiating our matches. Stupid little man.

Th state of this game is shocking - he had to make the game about him.

He’s the only ref that makes me come close to thinking that he might actually be bent.

I also fecking hate his stupid face.

Whoever was on VAR and didn't tell him to check the handball is my hero. You know he'd give it.

The Michael Oliver special yet again. If Dalot can be sent off for dissent over a mild outrage reaction due to a piss poor decision, at least review the mistake and give us the throw-in. And also, if the refereeing board were competent he'd never ref any of our games.

Not just our games. He shouldn't be reffing in the PL at all given who he supports

Had a really good game but sending Dalot off when it was Man. United's throw was a bit of a nonsense and will continue to fuel the narrative on here.
I hate when facts add to a narrative. That won’t happen again all season.

Unfortunately not. Martinelli was also sent off for two yellows within seconds. The referee was…

Michael Oliver.

He loves to make the game about himself when there’s no reason to do so.
Martinelli did two seperate things though.

I don't understand why he would do that, it only draws attention to himself. Mental decision
He's the most attention seeking ref around now that Mike Dean has retired, far too cowardly to go against Liverpool or the home crowd though.

That nonsense double booking for Dalot, I can't help but genuinely wonder if it was an attempt to influence the result at the death, given that he ignored loads of worse dissent from Liverpool players.

You can't even argue that he's one of those refs who shows zero tolerance for dissent. Nunez sarcastically applauded the decision to book him, but of course he turned a blind eye to that.

He's a coward like you say, he did it because he knew he would get away with bullying the United players who are way too soft compared to the Liverpool players.

He didn't have a good game. He's a poor ref and he should not be officiating in the top flight.

How can you not book Salah when he first of all gobs off and then smacks the ball away in disgust. He somehow gets away with that, and then he clearly makes a foul throw that leads up to a Liverpool chance. That was clear as day.

Nuñez also gets away with dissent.

Two obvious cases of diving by Liverpool players unpunished.

It was a blatant foul on Hannibal that led up to Shaw taking a yellow.

There was also a clear foul on Hannibal by Endo, where Hannibal got kicked in the shin, that led up to Hannibal hauling Endo to the ground. Decision? Free kick to Liverpool in a dangerous position.

That's even before you get up to this Mr Bean looking cnut sending off a guy for not getting anything when Salah has put the ball out and even shoved Dalot in the back.

He's such a small man. You just know when he was a copper he was one of those knobhead ones who would say "Don't TALK to me like that".

One of the most absurd decisions I've ever seen on a football pitch. Is he 14 years old?

He wasn't half bad until the ridiculous red. Still gave more decisions to Liverpool, but I feared much worse.
It’s always that way. It’s how bias is hidden.
It’s yet another hyper strict decision he’s made against us that you won’t see anywhere else.
When they made the rule that only captains can approach the ref to represent other players, he booked Bruno for approaching him when that’s what he’s supposed to do.
He’s lasered in on us and it’s beyond dispute at this point

Nunez points angrily at the linesman and sarcastically claps and gets nothing. Salah kicks the ball away and gets nothing. And them you give 2 yellows (after getting the throw in wrong in the first place) for dissent which was for all purposes one dissent?

Now I've had five minutes to calm down it's arguable that Nunez pissing all over the linesman's chips earlier in the game wound him up enough to give Dalot the red. Hopefully it'll be questioned by the FA as it didn't look like a calm decision at all.

Martinelli did two seperate things though.
So did Dalot, technically. He dissented the (incorrect) decision with the throw-in. Then he dissented the caution that he received.

Absolutely ridiculous decision, but it’s not actually different from the Martinelli sending off in that sense.

Thin-skinned nonsense.

Let’s not forget, Dalot was right, the decision was wrong.

So Oliver picks and chooses to apply the rules

No second care for Nunez dissent - much clearer of a 2nd incident that Dalot

No card for Salah kicking the ball away

No card for awful dive from Szobalai

but yet Dalot booked for throwing his arms around twice.
