Wise from Ten Hag, the FA would make an example out of us after Aretea somehow got away with it last week

He let his ego get involved. After Dalot’s first outburst, he needs to calmly call him over and explain that he may have missed the call for the throw-in but it’s the way he saw it. That would have allowed Dalot to calm down enough to avoid the red. Terrible refereeing.

It's got nothing to do with cowardice. He genuinely doesn't like talking about refs. He's fully entitled to have that stance, even though it's shafting us.
He has fans on here constantly hoping that he'll do what Klopp and others do and call out the bad refeering because they think it'll make it easier for the team, yet he never does. Fergie would do it all the time. He's afraid and we will continue to be bullied by refs as a result.

Arteta gets away with saying much worse, calling the officiating a ”disgrace” but the FA feel he was misunderstood
The double standards are shocking.

Just showed it on Sky, he had his arm up in a nothing motion and straight down in an I can’t believe it movement and that was it. He looked pretty calm when he was fecking booked

Hang tight.... what did Carragher just say, I need confirmation, not sure if it's the accent.

Modern refereeing is a joke. They're all soft and the rules are bollocks.

Why can't players have a reaction to anything?

I don’t think that ETH not saying anything works. Is Oliver now going to send off anyone who disagrees with his yellow card decision?. We need to go hard and properly embarrass this arrogant clown

United really need to start looking at armless players. Gets rid of all the silly handballs giving against us too

Gives either a red or a penalty against United in every match

Only ever one pen; no red cards ever for our opposition

Dunno why United put up with it. Hes clearly bias

Honestly…can’t believe it. Never seen anything like it. Dalot had already stopped and was getting on with the game. Totally unnecessary. Questions need to be asked.

Lets revisit with the immediate heat removed.

A truly inexplicable decision. Two yellows withing 5 seconds, and footage clearly showing the 'second' instance being absolutely nothing. This is a man who simply had his ego hurt. He isnt fit to referee.

But I see people online saying it ruined a good referring performance.

Well, he let nunez hammer the ball fifty yards and sarcastically applaud, without as much as blinking.

Just before this, he made an insane call to give liverpool a free kick after endo clearly fouled hannibal.

He pulled us back instead of giving us advantage at one moment in the second half when a great outball looked on, despite playing every single beneficial advantage for liverpool.

It was another awful game from him. I would be incredibly confident that in years to come he will be exposed as having been a corrupt official.

If that happened to Pool, they would have got an apology and a Christmas card from PGMOL

*taps the sign*

Watch how the cnut subtly controls the game for Liverpool later.

Anything less than a 40/60 will be in their favour.
We will be given an early yellow card to discourage playing a hard pressing game.
The threshold for a yellow for them will be far higher than for us.
Use of advantage will be to their benefit.
Threshold for a foul will be lower for us and it will be used to break any semblance of a tempo or momentum we could develop.

Tell me I was wrong to be a conspiracy theorist in 4 hours time.

For what it’s worth, yes we are shit and I expect us to lose but I’ve seen Oliver do this enough times against us to be confident it will happen again. They should beat us all things being equal but all things are never equal with this cnut.

How its it wise ? Exactly what is ETH and you afraid of ? The double standards used against us is clear as day if anyone was bothered to run a case on it. So no i don't think he is wise, in fact as others have shown, you don't complain you never gain.

Why didnt nunez get 2 yellows quickly for the yellow tackle, kicking ball away, clapping the ref?

It's just a really weird decision and a lack of understanding from Oliver. Dalot just made probably a 60 yard sprint to get back and challenge Salah and win a throw. Of course he's going to be incredibly frustrated.

Neville said he asked Oliver about it during commentary. Dissent was the answer but the panel agreed it wasn't two yellows worth. I'm sure Oliver know he fecked up too, which is why he blew for full time without more than an extra minute added on top.

its so predictable. It just shouldnt be that before a certain ref takes a match you know that a) youre unlikely to win b) you are likely to get a red card or penalty against and c) that every 50:50 will go one way

I've no sympathy. Our players constantly get themselves in trouble for dissent. Based on what was said during the game, Dalot was warned and already on a yellow and he started swinging his arms and shouting.

Liverpool players acted worse with no action against them.

Dalot was not already on a yellow. He picked up two yellows in less than 5 seconds for the same reaction/incident.

I cant remember many decisions where every single football fan online is united in how bad it is. Especially against united. You have unanimous criticism from every social media journalist and outlet, but complete silence on the main broadcaster.

Another decision that led to this level of joint outrage this season was the kovacic non red.

Michael Oliver holds a weird level of power and influence

Well this is nonsense for a start. When was he warned?

This is just an embarrassing take and I can only guess youve never played football at even a remotely competitive level. Its one of the worst decisions in years and there is a near total consensus online about it from fans of every club, and not only that but in the same match, nunez doesnt get punished for kicking the ball away and sarcastically applauding a booking- but despite this you have 'no sympathy' for the united player.

Idiotic take and a clearly abysmal decision. If you dont see a booking in every single match next weekend, for several players on the pitch, will you have sympathy then? Utterly stupid position to take on an uncomplicated call.

I actually wonder if any United supporters have actually read the Law Book. Dalot’s reaction is a text book example of dissent, that he then does it again after getting the yellow. He played five minutes of extra time, adding an extra minute from the four that was posted

Am I happy with the two yellows, no but by the law book they weee justified.
