Pretty sure he's on the board as part of the INEOS group meanwhile Berrada will be the CEO of Manchester United. So what about Jean-Claude Blanc?

Sounds like we’re bringing some serious football minds into the club.Pretty sure he's on the board as part of the INEOS group meanwhile Berrada will be the CEO of Manchester United.

I mean yeah that’s the most obvious scenario in the world.I wonder if City put an NDA on him given he would probably know quite a few things about their shenanigans they might not want airing in public.
I think it's the opportunity to be top dog at United. He'd be waiting years at City for the top job and he may not even get it even when the opportunity arises.Quite a statement of intent by INEOS. Seems nuts just how many Barcelona people City lifted out of Barcelona over a decade ago.
As many have pointed out, it makes you wonder whether he’s jumping due to the 115 because barely anyone worth his salt leaves that place at their peak.

Same. It has come completely out of the blue, no leaks to the press for months. Efficient. What excites me most is how out of nowhere and seemingly efficient this is. Good sign for the rest of our footballing structure in the future.
City have been charged on quite a few counts IIRC.In before City are charged and he's forced to resign as a result of the backlash.
But no, it's a big statement and we'll hopefully get the right football people below him.
It's the opportunity to be CEO I think attracted him. Also the challenge.Let's say he genuinely isn't jumping ship before some shit goes down at City. Why would he leave them to come to us? Could it just be a simply great contract we have offered him, one that City refused to match or better? Money is hardly an issue for them is it?
It's interesting how people move from one organisation to another.
Because whether most of this forum has forgotten or not, we are still football royalty and second really only to Real on a global level, it's a massive step for him especially if he brings us back to the glory days.Let's say he genuinely isn't jumping ship before some shit goes down at City. Why would he leave them to come to us? Could it just be a simply great contract we have offered him, one that City refused to match or better? Money is hardly an issue for them is it?

Yeah, odd to see such wide celebration/assumption that this means he’s fleeing the ship when us either having our new CEO heavily implicated in cheating almost as soon as he starts the job, or our board assuming the charges against City will likely come to nothing are equally likely. Are you not worried of getting someone who should be well aware of City's cheating ? Surely his name is bound to appear around those charges and switching jobs should not be saving him if he knew things.
I could see Pep leaving City in the summer but he won't join United. As others are saying I’m surprised United have pulled this off
So wonder if it is because of the impending charges
If Pep Guardiola leaves city this summer and we part ways with Ten Hag, you know that will become a link
