Broja is terrible is why and will never be good enough for a top side. The more minutes he got at Chelsea this year the lower his valuation going forward
People say the same about McTominay et al but you have to use what you have if that's literally what you have. There's also Jackson as well.

Thiago Silva’s wife has put a bounty on his head:

Mr. Overated. The U.K. press blue eyed boy.
He would have been an absolute disaster for us if it was him instead of ten Hag. He should be giving half his salary to Kane because he’s responsible for his entire career.
The press and pundits were pushing for him to get the United job when it was vacant. Maybe one of the few good decisions the club has taken in the last decade.

Has he turned Mudryk into the Ukrainian Mbappe yet?

Apparently Silva's wife has been tweeting asking for change.. even if Poch is doing poorly, this is stupid.
I hated it when Pogba's brother/agent would talk about club matters..
Chelsea fans fine with this?

Tbh I don’t think they would do much better with a new manager, the owners have spent way too much money on average inexperienced players.

He’s a dead man walking. I find it utterly bemusing, how he gets such a free pass in the media (and from many football fans even) when he has this Chelsea side in midtable obscurity.

Compare this to the level of criticism ten Hag receives and it’s even more baffling. United have been poor this season so criticism is warranted but Chelsea - and by extension, Poch - absolutely merit more.

Suppose it just emphasises the gulf in size and expectation between the clubs and how many rivals fans revel in United being a ‘banter club’ over Chelsea.
he does plenty of punditry while unemployed, the media are his mates

I'd be surprised if Chavs fans aren't aligned to the same idea. Poch is terrible, comfortably even worse than Potter, having managed to even outspend him.

The change is Silva needs to be taken out once the cups are done and Chelsea need to find a CB partnership from the others they have.

I presume that will happen when Colwill is fit given he played regularly for Brighton at CB last year.

Surely in huge trouble now, he will be lucky to last long g. It's tricky to manage a side built of about 100 20 year olds and some 2nd rate older players but their results are atrocious.
would you prefer to manage a side of 100 20 year olds or 20 100 year olds?

This is the problem with Chelseas strategy and which is why I'm against it at United. It sounds simple buying inexperienced players with potential but it's not football manager. Out of all Chelseas transfers only Nkunku/Enzo is really proven quality.

There's also the small problem of them playing for Chelsea. Not Brighton or Wolves. At Chelsea expectations are different, finishing mid table ain't good enough for Chelsea, so they won't even get the time to develop.

Broja has played plenty and been awful.

His reputation was built around a semi-ok loan spell.
Right - and then he tore his ACL and hasn't looked anywhere near as effective. He might be ok in a mid-table team playing on the break but his hold-up play is absolutely atrocious for a possession side.

Did he have him on loan at Southampton?
Ah yes, that mighty season at Southampton where he took them from 14th to 8th. 5ft round of the FA cup and fourth round of the League Cup.

The season after he left they came 7th in the league, fourth round of the FA Cup and fifth round of the league cup.

Don't think Poch will get sacked now but another result that does not help him. If they go out of Fa Cup vs Villa and lose Carabao Cup final that's basically season finished with how low they are in the league.

Who's been on Wikipedia then? (clap clap emoji). I can't be arsed to check but I'm pretty sure he established himself as a decent manager in Spain first and let's not forget that Spurs side with Erikson, Dembela, Son etc actually looking very good/ That said i agree he has been unjustifiably promoted into the European management elite on flimsy pretenses and has no B plan and in that respect encapsulates Chelsea perfectly.

What would they even gain by firing him? What quality manager wants to get involved with that shit show of an ownership situation, and the mess they’ve made of the squad?

Pochettino is a very good manager, as is Potter. Chelsea have handed them an impossible situation due to their fundamental lack of understanding of the PL.

They should have kept Potter and now they should keep Pochettino. It isn't their fault.

Whoever happens to be Chelsea manager is just going to have to be patient while the talented young players gain PL experience.

Sounds eerily like Amadeus in disguise… Going with enough subtlety in name-dropping Potter as well as Poch, before returning in a blaze of glory when they hold City to a high-scoring draw, but win the xG battle, in a couple weeks time.
