it's a mute point
This pitch has more than enough to make Bumrah a threat. India well in the driving seat still.
Was thinking the same. I can see Siraj enjoying himself too. This pitch has more than enough to make Bumrah a threat. India well in the driving seat still.
The flatter the pitch, the more a point of difference Bumrah becomes. This pitch has more than enough to make Bumrah a threat. India well in the driving seat still.
Also true. Either way, England need another 3/4 in quick succession to feel in the driving seat any time soon. The flatter the pitch, the more a point of difference Bumrah becomes.
Think England would be happy enough anything around 400.Also true. Either way, England need another 3/4 in quick succession to feel in the driving seat any time soon.
I'd bite your hand off for 6 wickets for 150 runs or so from here!Think England would be happy enough anything around 400.
Definetly.I'd bit your hand off for 6 wickets for 150 runs or so from here!
Can't not have a soft spot for Sarafaraz after the pics of his Mum and Dad earlier but Jesus you won't get many easier starts to your test career than that.
Four balls from Wood at the end of a spell then Root and Hartley with an old ball on a road - enjoy!
Oh FFS is it reallyThink that's his wife mate
I can't remember the last time he put together a good score. Seems to have gone from the best batsman in the World to an also ran since he lost the captaincy.Definetly.
God Root needs some runs, horrible series so far. Can't even randomly bowl well out there now.
Am I missing the joke here?I can't remember the last time he put together a good score. Seems to have gone from the best batsman in the World to an also ran since he lost the captaincy.
I feel the opposite of the last test here. I’m seeing online media calling it India’s day but to me on a flat wicket it feels England ahead for india to be 5 down.Hard to call exactly how flat that deck was. Nipped around early on, a few spun, a few kept low.
You'd assume it's a classic Indian pitch in that it will play flat tomorrow then only get worse. Need to get level with them minimum first innings
Not sure I can find a way to get England ahead yet - but there's still an outside chance India fall just short of 400 which would be seen as under par.I feel the opposite of the last test here. I’m seeing online media calling it India’s day but to me on a flat wicket it feels England ahead for india to be 5 down.
What jokeAm I missing the joke here?
He averaged 66 last year. What joke
Wasn't he the best batsman in the World a couple of years ago? When was the last time he put together a daddy hundred?
This is what I'm thinking too..I feel the opposite of the last test here. I’m seeing online media calling it India’s day but to me on a flat wicket it feels England ahead for india to be 5 down.
Caf has been Bazball'd.How can 326-5 be England’s day now, come on please
No Axar. Sub 420 is an 'ok' score on a flat pitch. Flat pitches remain good for 3 days, so England too can make runs. How can 326-5 be England’s day now, come on please
It makes total sense that after years of being our own player to ever really turn up in south Asia, he's going to have a shocker as we romp home.Joe root dripping catches now. He's having a horrid series
I honestly don't remember the last time he scored a big hundred, he always seems to get out cheaply. That must just be a perception, if he's averaging 66. Mind you, I simply don't have the time to get as involved in cricket as I used to.He averaged 66 last year.
Criticising Root for not being aware enoughWho is going to be the first to come in here and criticise Rohit?
That is interesting. I did note Collingwood mentioned he felt it turned but 'slow turn' in his interview. Easier to deal with for now.
