Lindelof defenders on here have shown better defending skills than him tbf.
"Other top players have equally worst moments, therefore Lindelof isn't as bad, so let's minimise his responsibility and blame the team for not migitating his mistake of showing Foden inside".
Yes let's completely ignore those top players...are TOP players and put in TOP performances week in week out the other 99% of the time.
"Also we got second place with him, so that proves he was a good player".
Let's ignore it was Maguire, McFred and Bruno who did most of the heavy lifting in that season. We've also played three cup finals in the last four years. FA Cup and Europa League, which we lost and guess what? Lindelof started and was directly involved in the incidents leading up to the first goals conceded in those games. At usual he was doing his thing of 'being near the vicinity of the action but not really doing anything'. We should mention that in the Europa League final, Lindelof took the 10th and second to last penalty despite starting the game and being one of our most experienced players. He took a penalty AFTER players like Tuanzebe, Telles, James and Mata, who all came on in the last 3-4 mins of extra time. The other final was last season's EFL, which we won and he didn't play a single minute.
The Lindelof Defence Alliance and deferring is truly world class
