Europa League / Conference League 23/24

Weren't some Roma fans involved in some similar stuff a few years ago in a European Cup situation? Correct me if I'm wrong.
In 2018 a Roma Ultra put Sean Cox, a Liverpool fan, in the hospital with a brain injury. Last I heard he was still not able to walk properly, even after years of treatments and physical therapy.

I jinxed Bayer. two down...from all the rivals they had, they choose Quarabag to fvck it up...

PD: darwin two excellent goals

Sparta Prague looked have really bad so far vs Liverpool.Surprised to see a very decent team like Galatasaray being eliminated by them in the previous round.
In hindsight it looks like Manchester United opponents weren't that good and the group was very doable

Tbh didn't need hindsight for that. Just shows how bad united were in that campaign

That Prague team is playing some great football. Scouts will invade the Czech capital soon.

Hindsight or foresight. You have no sight at all, if you think Prague played a poor first half.

They're going to win the "quadruple" aren't they

Tempted to stick a fiver on so at least I get some financial reward out of a hideous season

Klopp is an idiot.. playing the first XI in a second rate European cup when you have a literal title decider in 3 days. He's done it repeatedly in the CL also, and then they wonder why they finish a point or two behind a city side that rotates for the midweek games

He's done this to kill the tie in the first leg. We go to United in the FA Cup three days after the second leg and have had a decent break since playing Forest to prepare for these two games.

Not quite. They could potentially win “a quadruple” but they couldn’t win “the quadruple”. They would need the CL to achieve that. Not that it would stop them screaming it from the rooftops at every opportunity like they did when they won that 2nd rate cup treble back in 01.

They won’t win the Fa cup. Or was you counting the carabao?

This is what I was saying the other day about a De Zerbi team when someone was comparing him and inzaghi. He has a few battering in the way he plays.

That fourth Roma goal was delicious

De Zerbi beginning to look the part for the United job

I want to say unless Liverpool get some string of injuries, they should win, but they will probably still win this tournament even with injuries

They had a string of injuries didnt they and just won games through it

Weird, Salah looked on, or at least level. Hard to tell nowadays.

Liverpool cruising and getting their players back too. Is this what it feels like to look forward to games knowing your team will win? It's been too long...
