Should be a quite comfortable win for Liverpool this one, the only team they might be afraid of are whoever end 3rd in the UCL Group F (PSG, BVB, AC Milan, Newcastle) but among current UEL teams no one are Liverpool level imho.

Im so happy we’re not in this again. Thursday games, terrible opponents, awful pitches and long journeys. Used to hate the standard argument on here ‘well we should try and win it if we’re in it’ and now we can see RAWK have that debate all season.

That's a great draw for Brighton fans. As good as they could get glamour tie wise.

Are Marseille the French hipsters?
Probably. Better appeal than Toulouse I suppose.

So we get Atalanta, Sturm Graz and Rakow. Accessible group I think, just a pity I don't find any of those aways appealing. Guess I'll save some money.

Liverpool, Lask Linz, Union Saint Gilloise and Toulouse. Not the easiest but not the hardest. Toulouse and Saint Gilloise are decent teams.

Full group line-ups
Group A: West Ham, Olympiacos, Freiburg, TSC Bracka Topola
Group B: Ajax, Marseille, Brighton, AEK Athens
Group C: Rangers, Real Betis, Sparta Prague, Aris Limassol
Group D: Atalanta, Sporting Lisbon, Sturm Graz, Rakow Czestochowa
Group E: Liverpool, LASK, Union St-Gilloise, Toulouse
Group F: Villarreal, Rennes, Maccabi Haifa, Panathinaikos
Group G: Roma, Slavia Prague, Sheriff Tiraspol, Servette
Group H: Bayer Leverkusen, Qarabag, Molde, Hacken

There's likely to be a few strong third-place drop downs into the conference from these groups as well to join Eintracht, Lille, Brugge, Fiorentina, Fenerbahçe and Villa etc. That 'easy' competition will start to look wide open at the last 16 stage,

OM may or may not come good this year. Change of coach and a lot of lateral movement in transfers but they had a decent start of the season on the pitch (despite losing to Pana to advance to the UCL).

Whereas, Utd have a pleasant 4+ hours trip to Hell. :D

Where do you watch these smaller competitions? Do these even get televised?
