The feck is their defender doing
only if Saudi Arabia comes callingCasemiro is gone in June, surely. Surely…
I have no ideaThe feck is their defender doing
It was a bit weird. He's not making straight forward passes even when he's not under pressure. That's nothing to do with the shape.Interesting that Rio mentioned the shape on the ball when talking about Casemiro’s poor passing today.
If you are shocked by that at this point then that is squarely a you problem.Shocking lack of control and game management from us.
I think that might have been his point though that the options ahead of him aren’t there. It was a bit weird. He's not making straight forward passes even when he's not under pressure. That's nothing to do with the shape.
If you putting your hands to the ground to steady yourself or break your fall it's not handball.Gets an advantage using his hands, unintended or not. Yay VAR.
So that is not a penalty why? Because we already had one? So we ignore the rules after that.
Trying to think of a reason for this. The only thing I can think of is in Europe the game is slower, more teams pass and build up from the back gradually than the UK. Therefore pressing high with high intensity could put teams under a lot of pressure in that context. In England though, teams are more direct as a tendency. Pressing high could potentially be exposed with a good counter attack, the likelihood of which is higher in England than in Europe on average. What I don't get is that at Ajax ETH always said that losing the ball is fine as long as you retain it in 5 seconds yet I don't see that philosophy at United.
