Looks offside to me this Brighton goal
I think he's behind the ball - the red line seemed to prove thatLooks offside to me this Brighton goal
Not really watching, but Villa's been kind of meh lately. Still 0-0 thoughVilla European hangover? Watching the Chelsea game.
If it’s a forward pass and you’re behind the ball (though goal side of any defender), that’s onside? It is now clear that the guys in the VAR truck don't know the rules.... they kept looking at where Gross' foot was and not if he was behind the ball which he was
Just playing poorly. And slowVilla European hangover? Watching the Chelsea game.
They looked all wonky. Something didn't seem right with that one.Took forever to draw their lines. Looking forward to the new system coming in & hopefully eliminating this delay.
Which is why I'd like Europa League football next season but as it stands it's not looking likely,I honestly don't get why people turn their nose up at the Europa League
First it is a trophy, and one better than the FA and Carabao cup. Second, it provides you with another option of CL qualification.
Correct. Regardless of the position of other players if you are in line or behind the line of the ball at the moment it's played to you, you are onside. If it’s a forward pass and you’re behind the ball (though goal side of any defender), that’s onside?
yesIf it’s a forward pass and you’re behind the ball (though goal side of any defender), that’s onside?
are they checking to see if West Ham turned up?VAR checking but seems like 5-0 Chelsea
You are correct but also direction of the pass doesn't matter actually - a couple years ago Kane was correctly deemed offside on a backwards pass because he was ahead of the ball and the last defender and checked back.If it’s a forward pass and you’re behind the ball (though goal side of any defender), that’s onside?
Even the PL refs don’t need that long to judge thatare they checking to see if West Ham turned up?
You need Chelsea to turn up against Forest as well, if Forest win Luton will be pretty much down regardless of what they do against West Ham due to the goal difference.fecking hell Chelsea have turned up today. Hopefully it knocks some confidence out of West Ham so we can capitalise next week.
13 goals in the last 3 home games.fecking hell Chelsea have turned up today. Hopefully it knocks some confidence out of West Ham so we can capitalise next week.
Why not laugh at WH or any club period. Does it always have to involve United? We can laugh at West Ham but at least they're binning their joke manager off in the summer unlike us apparently.
Of course. If Chelsea win and we win... The final day can be interesting. We can laugh at West Ham but at least they're binning their joke manager off in the summer unlike us apparently.
Let Chelsea have that and the fact they can only spend 80% of this years turnover on transfers, Agent Fees, Amortised transfer and wages. Last year they were on about £505m revenue with a CL 1/4 final run. This year no Europe, they cant be higher than £450m and 80% of that would be £360m no wonder they were actually investigating the idea of asking UEFA to not participate next season, it really wouldn’t be worthwhile. Last season alone their wages accounted for 79% of revenue and £398m, this years accounts won’t include Tuchel and Potters pay offs but fir what they would get back in revenue and new financial restrictions it seems untenable for Chelsea to play in European Conference League, they must be thinking if they post 62 points, hopefully Newcastle and United draw against each other and drop points in other games so they come 6th.You dont wanna be in the conference league.
It wasn't even soft.Am I going blind or is that a really really really soft pen? Commentators are acting like it's stonewall
