Our players make so many basic mistakes that no manager will be able to get them to play any kind of fluid football. Players keep on misplacing passes under no pressure, have bad first touches, make poor decisions, jump/ press at the wrong time or without any conviction, the list goes on. Our lead striker is more interested in marking his defender than getting himself into any kind of space.
Anyone who blames this on the manager has no clue.
Feels like he just sets up the formation and sends them out to play. No fluidity, no coordination, Just players sticking to their positions and waiting for the ball to come to them

Selling Hojlund at what would be a gigantic loss would be an extremely poor and short-sighted decision. He needs to go on loan somewhere, ideally in a weaker league where he can find some confidence, score some goals and better learn his trade. Writing him off because he's not a Premier League-ready lone striker at 21 is asinine. It's indicitive of what a complete shambles the club is that he's been asked to lead the line pretty much solo for the past couple of seasons with so little experience (and despite that he still got 16 goals last season, proving there's talent there).Unless there is absolutely drastic improvement, Hojlund and Zirkzee should both be gone this summer. It’s just astonishing the lack of quality at times.

Nope, not much progress. We need new players but I am not sure 3421 is the way forward.The performances are simply not good enough. You can't see some kind of masterplan coming to fruition either. Looks like only suffering without much reward at the end of it.

Garnacho never played as a wingback.Having started with Diallo and Garnacho as the wingbacks, we're now playing much more negatively with fullbacks there.

I think Ruud actually would have made more sense as a longer interim until the end of the season, he just would have played similar to Ten Hag without the kamikaze gaps in midfield. Then Amorim in the summer with time to identify players he wants in the late season/early summer with preseason to practice the new formation.The 4231 was not the problem.
