Starting to irritate me now with some of his decisions. It’s all well and good saying he needs to bring his own players but whats the fecking point when he plays them out of position anyway?
The football is just getting worse & worse.Sacked in the morning?
Solskjaer, TenHag, Rangnick. Van Gaal. Even in some way Mourinho got sacked for lot less.
Has always been my worry. I'm hoping he turns it around and earns his summer budget but feck me.....My biggest concern is we give him a summer transfer window, spend all of our money on yet another profile of player, and then we're still shite, Amorim gets sacked, and the next manager inherits another crap and disjointed squad.
It's impossible to grade Amorim based on the players we have, but his inability to adapt is a massive problem.
He's not going to change it. This is what he is. You could lose 200 games in a row, he'd still do it. We knew this before getting him. We have to survive long enough for him to get players to play the system.
I like Ruben and how he has called out our weaknesses. I hate the defensive formation he plays and the fact he has created new weaknesses because we are so easy to play against. I don't see how anyone can look ahead and assume with any confidence that we're going to get any better even with a few signings.Maybe a bit OTT, but it is really baffling. Especially when he was arguably our best player in the first half![]()
We are fecking unbelievably shit.
I thought I'd defend him to the end of the season no matter what, but this is so indefensibly shite that I just can't. Our players are bad, but they're not this bad... right?!?
If he doesn't adapt their is no way he gets enough time to get his own players. Sticking yo his formation is one thing but when playing inverted wing backs alongside three centre backs that offer nothing in possession is just dumbHe's not going to change it. This is what he is. You could lose 200 games in a row, he'd still do it. We knew this before getting him. We have to survive long enough for him to get players to play the system.
What did Sporting's football look like? This but better? Or something entirely different?
We might win off another Amad miracle and people will forget until we play the next timeI think today is the day the tide has finally turned. He aint gonna last the season tbh.
Yeah me too. I still won't finally start judging him until next season starts. But after preseason, no excuses left.We are fecking unbelievably shit.

Rangnick MK II so farHe talks the talk but everything else is shite
Sadly this is the reality. This is why the club should be focusing on an overarching philosophy and getting the type of manager that can run it. If he moves on, another manager slots in and continues steering. The show should go on, here we just keep reinventing the wheel. My biggest concern is we give him a summer transfer window, spend all of our money on yet another profile of player, and then we're still shite, Amorim gets sacked, and the next manager inherits another crap and disjointed squad.

He clearly stated that he wanted Garnacho to stay. Amorim is not in charge of our transfers. To think Amorim even considered selling Garnacho too when he's one of the few attacking players who can create something by himself. If he had his way he'd have signed someone who'd play it safe instead.
Our biggest problem. We haven't appointed a manager with proven experience in one of the top four European leagues in the last 9 years. Best in class doesn't extend to the coaching staff.
