Cheers Ahmer. They have lost last 3 matches.

He's a dead man walking unfortunately. They sold his best players for big money almost every transfer window (Akpom, Morgan Rogers, now Latte Lath), replacing with loans and hidden gems. With such a constant squad turnover (due to injuries too), he's done remarkably well. This window however their luck with hidden gems ran out, the replacements (mostly loans) for the players they sold are looking unfit and disinterested.4 consecutive loses for him now. What's going on?
He's definitely too stubborn though. Should have changed the system to fit lesser quality players. Sticking to pretty football when you have unfit and less talented players is suicide. Almost all the goals they concede are self-inflicted from passing out from the back and terrible defending.
Given they lost their main goalscorer in January for big money (for a Championship team) and his replacement hasn't bedded in fully, I think Carrick has earned some sympathy and time.5 losses in row now? What's the mood around Middlesbrough now? Closer to a sack?
Glad to see him getting another victory. But those 5 successive defeats really hurt Middlesbrough.
United should add him as a coach to work with the midfielders
You mean like we had Ruud working with the strikers at the start of this season?United should add him as a coach to work with the midfielders
You can't turn turd into gold. Carrick was a great midfielder in his own right but he is not a sorcerer. United need to purchase quality central midfielders. Current ones are simply not good enough.United should add him as a coach to work with the midfielders
Well I think it’s been proven that Ruud should do something else. Carrick has actually proven himselfYou mean like we had Ruud working with the strikers at the start of this season?
Yeah but Ipswich went and got some solid lower PL standard players when they went in to the Championship, they are playing with a bit of money and they had momentum, Middlesbrough on the other hand sold off their best performers from Carrick's first year and didn't build on the playoff finish, infact in terms of squad quality they probably went backwards in what they gave to him.Boro fans have been calling for him to be sacked since last season, not getting play off this year killed him. When you see Luton & Ipswitch even Sunderland who are not far out of the third tier like Ipswitch going up it's understandable, but I do think a lot of championship clubs need to accept at least 2 of the 3 promotion places will go to teams that have been relegated from the PL the year before
He actually had a good win percentage so i'm sure he'll pick up another job pretty easy when it comes around.
We loved to shit on him when he first joinedMy god could we do with a 25 year old Michael Carrick in our midfield now.

Basically, Middlesbrough fans are stupid.
The fact that was somehow only this season is disorientating - what a bloody season. You mean like we had Ruud working with the strikers at the start of this season?
I mean, he was pretty much Roy Keane's replacement. I don't think any player in the world would have been able to fill those shoes adequately. Obviously he won people over with his own qualities over time though. We loved to shit on him when he first joined

He was far from press resistant. Kept losing ball all the time under pressure. Excellent player but not this press resistant Xavi regen people think he was.If he's a free agent we're looking for a press resistant deep midfielder
It was a weird one with Carrick. I remember loving him after the 7-1 vs Roma, but there was a lack of appreciation from fans including myself for a couple of seasons after that. Hargreaves got more praise than him in 07-08 and that seemed in part due to him running around more.It took ages for this place to warm to him and he still got shite even when he was good. Fletcher was the same, everyone in hindsight remembers him fondly but I recall boos when his name was announced in a game against Villarreal or Valencia.
You don’t know what you are talking about. He was far from press resistant. Kept losing ball all the time under pressure. Excellent player but not this press resistant Xavi regen people think he was.
As in the 38 year old striker?Spoke to a Boro fan at work and they said Carrick is slow to respond tactically in matches when stuff isn't working. Apparently they had chances to sign players like Steven Fletcher who might have done well at that level and it was turned down by Carrick.
