Let me introduce you to post-Fergie era Manchester United players. The fact that the Lyon tie was so insane will probably help us. After that, you can't take anything for granted.

I don't think that has anything to do with the side he's playing. Feel like he's even more restricted on the right having to continuously cut onto his left. He's put in some good crosses from the left but we lack any movement in the box.Dorgu is a fluctuates between ok and terrible (recently more the latter) when I see him on the left. On the right he looks mildly better and can find a cross on the left. Even though his crossing is often wayward too.
Against Lyon ?When was the last time we conceded 3 at home in Europe?
As poor as we are, I just don’t see us letting this slip.
Yeah switching may be best. I remember that horror clearance Dorgu did from the right vs Brentford, conceding a big chanceI don't think that has anything to do with the side he's playing. It would also mean Maz being uncomfortable on the left.
There is no need for anyone to start ahead of Ugarte. That said, Mount could start alongside Bruno as one of two AMs (although I’d rather see Garnacho)There is no chance Mount starts ahead of Ugarte . He’s been excellent recently
How?Early goal for us and Bilbao drop, early goal for them and we go full meltdown
We've conceded plenty of goals against far worse attacks. I wouldn't put it past us to make it a much more difficult night than it has to be.How?
They are without many of their best players.
Williams brothers, Sancet injured and Vivian suspended.
We conceded 2 goals to 10 mean lyon a few weeks ago. Its very much within us to mess this up.We've conceded plenty of goals against far worse attacks. I wouldn't put it past us to make it a much more difficult night than it has to be.
This.Worst thing that can happen is that the players take it for granted and don't show up in the early part of the game. They need to come out swinging and be on the front foot.
Once the first 25 minutes have passed I will be a lot more comfortable (assuming we haven't conceded).
Have you seen us collapse? we are mentally weak, Brentford scored 4 past us at the weekend, the game before Lyon scored 4How?

Brentford was not a prioritised game. There were 8 new starters as compared to the starting 11 against Athletic.Have you seen us collapse? we are mentally weak, Brentford scored 4 past us at the weekend, the game before Lyon scored 4
Can’t excuse the Lyon game but Brentford away is hard, and we are clearly playing that game at 50% with today in mindHave you seen us collapse? we are mentally weak, Brentford scored 4 past us at the weekend, the game before Lyon scored 4
Seems like utter madness that Michael Oliver has been selected to referee this one
I didn’t even think this was allowed in EuropeSeems like utter madness that Michael Oliver has been selected to referee this one
And a red for Bruno for sneezing3 Penalties to Bilbao it is! Hate when he refs us, always an ABU decision in him.
Artificial pitch, home crowd, cold temperatures could all play a partHopefully Bodo can turn it around in Norway. It's definitely not impossible seeing what they did to Lazio at home.
The ref tonight is GermanSeems like utter madness that Michael Oliver has been selected to referee this one
Ah ok thanks for clearing that upThe ref tonight is German
Fun fact. The last time he refereed a game for us we beat a Spanish team.Ah ok thanks for clearing that up
Imagine the media meltdown if we win, Spurs lose and we qualify for the CL by beating Bodo Glimt![]()
We could start and play with 10 men for the entire game at Old Trafford and still go through with that 3-0 lead. Bilbao aren’t very good at all
It would be worth it just for that alone. I love a good old media meltdown.Imagine the media meltdown if we win, Spurs lose and we qualify for the CL by beating Bodo Glimt![]()
Not so sure it is about mental weakness as much as a very rotated team that would always concede some mistakes against a strong prem team like Brentford.Have you seen us collapse? we are mentally weak, Brentford scored 4 past us at the weekend, the game before Lyon scored 4
Very subjective comment. We bought Onana on the back of his heroics in a Champions League final. Donarumma has been far from impressive on plenty of occasions over his time with PSG. No question, a brilliant keeper makes a huge difference and Onana is having a pretty terrible time at the moment but lets wait till we don't win it because of Andre fecking up before being saddened. As it stands, despite having such an alleged incompetent in goals, we're on the verge of a European final. So lets hope for the best, eh?Seeing Onana as our starting keeper in the latter stages of a competition we absolutely have to win is really saddening. We’ve just seen how important good/great keepers are as both CL finalists got through via their respective #1’s heroics. By contrast, I’m hoping Onana doesn’t open this game up for them, and if we get through doesn’t feck up in the final.
I feel as though even if we’re the bumbling version of ourselves, we’ll be ok if Onana doesn’t fluff his lines.
