We’ve just seen how important good/great keepers are as both CL finalists got through via their respective #1’s heroics. By contrast, I’m hoping Onana doesn’t open this game up for them, and if we get through doesn’t feck up in the final.

Not so sure it is about mental weakness as much as a very rotated team that would always concede some mistakes against a strong prem team like Brentford.

We also have some issues, generally, with our defensive shape and actions, and also keepers that are lacking composure and confidence atm.
But, having most of our first choice players on the pitch tonight will improve us of course.

Very subjective comment. We bought Onana on the back of his heroics in a Champions League final. Donarumma has been far from impressive on plenty of occasions over his time with PSG. No question, a brilliant keeper makes a huge difference and Onana is having a pretty terrible time at the moment but lets wait till we don't win it because of Andre fecking up before being saddened. As it stands, despite having such an alleged incompetent in goals, we're on the verge of a European final. So lets hope for the best, eh?
