Practically the same team that won 0-3 to Bilbao so that's a weak argument you have there. Real issue is that majority of players playing with tails between their legs, which explains sloppy passing and even sloppier finishing. Two good subs will change the game for the better. Need better ball controllers like Amad to disrupt Bilbao's defensive shape.

They’re getting a free rein to build attacks, even if it hasn’t produced many chances for them.

It's shocking how long we've gone without investing in proper midfielders in their prime. Even a past it Casemiro combining with Bruno leads to easy chances. Not that it matters because our forwards are worse than relegated teams at finishing. Horrible from Garnacho.

Ugarte and Casemiro can't make simple passes, forget finding good angles for the forwards.
Our defenders are so poor on the ball - Lindelof, Maguire, and even Yoro have been playing them too short or too long.
Onana cannot make the DDG/Donnarumma/Alisson esque saves in general, definitely not in big games. He can't distribute well, either.
Only one of our wing backs can attack, and he's a kid with erratic touches and decision making, and is taking the ball off our star player's feet.
Garnacho has missed out on two good chances at goal because the moment he gets into or close to a goal scoring position, his touches become shit, his shooting almost always fails him.
Our 9 is not even a Championship level forward.

Bruno, the only top-level player in this side, is surrounded by absolute dross. It's a miracle we're even 2-0 up in the tie at this stage.

Personally i've been pretty happy with him so far this season, some good, some bad but he actually had end product. We just have a very, very, very frustrating set of forwards.

Yeah, I think it's both. Our attacking options have been incredibly profligate, we've shown poor decision making in the final third, and Dorgu has made poor passes a number of times, besides looking a bit lost at times. I'm just worried that he might not be anywhere near what we expected.
