Racing Santander have agreed to sell Serbian striker Nikola Zigic to Valencia.
Skysports.com revealed earlier this week that Valencia had beaten Manchester City in the chase for Zigic, and the Spanish club have now confirmed that a five-year deal is in place.
The transfer will be completed on Friday subject to a medical, with reports in Spain suggesting Zigic will cost Valencia 15 million euros (£10.1million).
Zigic enjoyed a superb first season at Racing after joining last summer, scoring 11 times and setting up numerous other goals.
The 6ft 7in front man will compete with the likes of David Villa and Fernando Morientes for a place in the Valencia side.
He could make his debut in the UEFA Champions league qualifier against Elfsborg next week.
