Chelsea, classless fans, classless players, classless club

Someone on another forum has claimed the Chelsea bench were giggling during the minute silence, I didn't see anything of this, can someone confirm or deny it

did that Chelsea fan really find Cantona kicking your man at Palace "sickening"?

 - fecking hell, what a nouveau blue we have here.

I guess anti-henry (shit name) missed Ballack's berating the ref after his booking of Ivanovic of an assault on Giggs. Not to mention Chelsea's "injuries," Joe Cole's assault on Fletcher, and countless time wasting acts after the goal, which was never a foul by Fletcher and Drogba clearly hacked down Brown.

No no. Didn't see any of that. Just United arguing against the ref and fouling players.

1+ i was annoyed we lost to the scousers but since we didnt turn up to play only had our selves to blame..

im totally pissed about last night as we where the better side for most of the game and if not for a blind ref and our wasteful finishing would have won..

What are you talking about? Clutching at straws I see. I would expect a few thousand traveling fans to be sung down for 90 minutes, not just when you scraped your goal towards the end.

What I find sickening is how plastic and fake your club is. Although to be fair, the whole league knows this. Must drive you mad how you have no history and would be still nowhere near the top of the leauge if you didn't have a Russian Toy Master pulling the clubs strings. His plaything, hobby, etc

Fergie is a legend. The best manager to grace the game.

How dare you even mention him in the same breath as Chelsea Football Club.

Wash your mouth out.

Something obviously rattled your cage, and no it wasn't just towards the end but throughout the entirety of the game which I should know as I was there singing.

And why are you so obsessed about history of another club? We have throughout our 100 years been one of the biggest clubs in the country, one of the most supported clubs in the country and one of the most recognisable English clubs around the world and have produced and played some of the best players to grace the English game.

You really have to get over yourself regarding Ferguson, he is a bully who always puts other people down rather than himself or his team when you don't deliver- he did it tonight, he did it against Liverpool and shamefully against Sunderland- when Mourinho used to do it, it would drive me mad - there are reasons why he and Ferguson and Wenger never saw eye to eye.

You are typical of that Ferguson mindset, you are a very bad loser- you are playing poorly and are five points off the top of the table and you can see it becoming more and more difficult to get to no.19 - what I find truely astonishing is how you claim us to be 'plastic' yet you can hardly judge as your meteoric rise in the last 15 years has some part to do with building a fan base in the far east and a generation of Britons who have never stepped foot within the borders of Greater Manchester - I'm willing to bet I've seen Man United and have been to Old Trafford more times than many on here.

If you think it is acceptable to kung-fu kick and punch someone which is far beyond any definition of self-defence in any country then we have reached a sorry state of affairs, what makes it laughable is how so many Man United fans were dissapointed that Gerrard wasn't found guilty in the summer.

Oh Jesus Christ...yes of course Chelsea were a football club before 2004, but you cannot compare our success during the nineties to what has happened post-Roman. We were already one of the two most recognisable English clubs domestically and worldwide, and the major reason for our 'meteoric rise' was the bully Ferguson, who actually can manage a football team rather well as it happens. The development of modern-day Chelsea is not natural or organic in the same way in which most football clubs bar Chelsea and City have developed over time.

Makes you wonder where this 'generation of Britons' has come from, don't it?

United had the top English crowd ever in 1948, before even I was born, and have topped the attendance table for 90% of the years since then.

For a Chelsea fan to accuse us of a meteoric rise is somewhat, is the word ironic?

I would never deny that it was down to football which has served you somewhat half-decently I'd say! But your business plan relied on and now more than ever millions of shirt sales by people with minimal connection to Britain, let alone Man United is what I'm getting at regarding plasticity- I bet all the protesters when Glazer arrived didn't mind that regarding the 'community spirit' in your club. No Chelsea fan would deny the lift Abramovich gave us though we had got to the precipice purely by ourselves and Mourinho proved it takes more than resources to win the league, and many of the pieces that one the league twice pre-date the post 2003 era.

You sir are a qwender.

I think our rise may well be down to an all time great manager turning up and BUILDING a team, seeing as the team that started our apparent sudden rise was predominatly youth (you may want to look that term up on wikipedia as a chelsea fan) and not bought in for record transfer fees thanks to some russian sugar daddy being around to throw money at the club so you could go from mid table boredom to champions league final in the space of 7 years.

Btw i live within the boundaries of greater manchester and have been going to old trafford since i was 7 so if you would care to go fornicate yourself with your 'History of Chelsea FC' leaflet that would be very much appreciated.

So you don't think 11 titles in nearly twenty years a generation after winning the 8th in 100 years is not meteoric?

May I advise a good few celery sticks before moving straight onto the leaflet.....May ease the pain.

Did anyone see when Giggs was about to take a corner in the 2nd half that this young female Chav fan (about 10 years old!) was sticking a finger at him. Beyond belief there!

Mid-table boredom? The side that had Zola, Vialli, Flo, Di Matteo, Poyet, Petrescu, Desailly as boring? The side that came third which could still mathmatically win the league going into the penultimate game of the season in your treble winning season? Followed by the team that had Cudicini, Lampard, Hasselbaink, Gudjohnsen, Terry, Desailly, Gallas and Zola as boring? The side that came fourth gaining a champions league place all coming before Mr Abramovich arrived, they both I might add played stunning football which put you to the sword on a few occasions. It isn't as if we were languishing in mediocrity in the years proceeding 2003.

Yep, epitomised CFC perfectly

You are imagining things again

You were nothing more than the Spice Boy era of Liverpool FC

Don't mind them, they're just bitter.

Unlike Chelsea fans, they're a classy bunch though, laughing it up at the expence of an opposition player being seriously hurt by an outrageous challenge and hailing the thug who did the deed and got away with it as a true MU legend.

You're an idiot.

Whilst I don't agree with Brian at all, at least he has brains.

Run along to bed.

Yes, whilst Brian defends his team eloquently, despite certain innaccuracies, antihenry is clearly on the WUM, and desperate to assert himself as some kind of lifelong Chelsea 'fan', when apparently he supported someone else pre-Abramovich

Sweeping generalisations (and contradictions) made all round.

Religion: "southerners" - and who are you to sling mud? I must say that, from my experience, the "north" has its fair share of scumbags too. The intonation seems even more ridiculous considering that Liverpool, or "scousers", attract the most vociferous bigotry on here, whilst being only a stone's throw from Manchester. Pathetic, contradictory, risible, nonsensical vulgarity.

Anti-Henry: quit yo' jibber jabber. You forward prima facie confirmation bias, in which, undoubtedly, you're - in the same way, as some Utd fans did - extrapolating instances to suit your own rather pathetic polemic. "Thug" - how far does the hyperbole have to go to highlight the pitied febrility of your moral stance? It's suitably idiotic for you to summon notions of "sickening" disrepute whilst the most extravagant of all disreputable figures is the centrefold of a divine irony. Which is funny, regardless of your hormonal responses.

Team Bryany GB: although i agree with you about your history, and more so, i believe it validates none above the other - you strayed well into realms of absurdum ridiculum by nonsensing about Ferguson being a "bully" and then gibbering on about Utd fans who've never seen Manchester when it's a reality of the modern game you still pay to see. It's the same argument, from historically validated norms, that you assume, and yet have antipathy toward. Take the tin foil hat off, because clearly, a semblance of clarity remains within your posts, and yet, respect is widely precluded at the point you meet conspiracy and contradiction.

Hehehhe

Rename this 'The Bitters' thread

You lot should get a fking grip - you were the better side for the most part and Chelsea did not play well but you did not 'outplay them' by a long chalk.

Had this been the reverse ( which it was when you played us at OT two months ago ) it would have been (in fact check it out in threads) a "typical champions performance" "played poor but got the points" " a deserved victory for 'toughing' it out"

Utd have done that enough times to a lot of teams and you should be prepared just once in a while to accept that it can, although rarely, happen to you

Hypocritically you're showing that you have little of what you accuse Chelsea of lacking - class

Here, Here. Especially the last part, well said.

Of the two, Cherlsea were much classier bunch on the pitch today. MU players behaved like a bunch of thugs with an attitude, both towars the opposition and the ref. Any other team would have been dealt with in much harsher manner.

Errrr thugs? We played the better football and had most important decisions going unfairly against us. Anyone would be pissed. At least our players didn't do a drogba.

Manchester United players behabing like a bunch of thugs?I don't think this so. On the other hand this current Chelsea are surely the biggest bunch of cnuts over the last 5 years in general with their behaviour and I don't think many could argue with that, taking over from Arsenal. The behaviour of people like A.Cole, Droba, Mikel, Terry, Ballack etc.Fergie whinges and moans but he tends to do it at referees whi make bad decisions, any manager would have moaned at what happened yesterday. Fergie has often complimented the victorious side, especially if they have won a trophy or become league champions. If Fergie was as bad as being made out why is he so popular with a lot of managers.

Seriously hurt? feck off you little plastic flag waving glory-hunter. As for Cantona kicking racist hooligans in the face. It's another debate. I wouldn't be surprised if an SS Chelsea fan has sympathy for the little scum-bag though.

If we don't win the league, and let's be honest 4-in-a-row was a tall order for any club, I hope Chelsea do win it, because it means nothing when you win it. It's just a hollow nothing achievement, bought with by a Russian Mastercard. It wouldn't hurt us like the very real achievement of Arsenal or a proper football club winning it.

But judging by your cowardly performance yesterday, I wouldn't be counting my chickens just yet.

Top atmosphere in the Utd end yesterday.

Suprised me TBH.

outplayed you lot yesterday. only a terrible refereeing performance allowed you to win.

As a Chelsea fan don't you find it embarrassing having that prick Drogba playacting like that?
Also, don't you find it embarrassing that referees have their own set of rules for John Terry? i.e. he's allowed to rugby tackle players that are faster than him.

laughing it up at the expence of an opposition player being seriously hurt by an outrageous challenge and hailing the thug who did the deed and got away with it as a true MU legend.

trouble with Drogba is, he's such a fecking drama queen that when you see him lying on the floor shaking, your first reaction is just to laugh. And was he feck 'seriously injured' anyway. He was fecking winded, the playacting twat.

Top atmosphere in the Utd end yesterday.

Suprised me TBH.

What happened with the minute's silence? Some people are making a big deal about it but I didn't hear anything.

Maybe a few who were chanting United, then soon stopped when they either realised what they were doing, or told to shut up.

You were there, so maybe you can shed more light on it?

Technically, money will buy you history eventually, because one day the money will be history.

Is there a thread on here about it?

I was next to what happened.

It was observed perfectly by both supporters, however, some Utd fans in the concourse hadn't realised it had started and began a 'United' chant as they walked up the stairs.

They were promptly told to shut up and did so rightfully embarrassed.

Problem over...

Yea, there's a thread about Celtic fans desecrating a silence yesterday, and come of the Celtic fans are trying to drag us into and legitimise their own behaviour by saying we were chanting over the silence at Stamford Bridge.

I'll pass on what you've told me, cheers.

https://www.redcafe.net/f7/celtic-f...silence-sectarian-chanting-274825/index3.html

What do you expect from a club whose only chant is "Chelsea"? And that's only to help them remember what their club is called.

Not true.

They have the 'Chelsea' chant after each verse of Elizabethan Reggae.

And 'blue is the colour'.

Not forgetting the marvellous 'feck 'em all, feck e'm all, United, West Ham Liverpool.'

and don't forget the little blue flags handed out free to create atmosphere, I almost shat myself when they waved them before the EC semi final, I hear Gerrard actually froze in the tunnel in shock and awe. (That he almost signed for such a bunch of tossers)

Stopped reading there.

Watching the likes of Terry, Lampard and Cole celebrating at the end was pretty nauseating. I was jsut happy we won the CL

One thing your money won't buy you is class, nor will it get you the history you crave.

I'm no fan of Chelsea, but suggesting they have no history shows a certain level of ignorance.

It's an accusarion created by those cretins at Liverpool who have always confused 'history' with winning trophies. By their logic, hardly any team in the fecking league as an "history". I fecking hate that glory-hunting attitude. :(
