It's the way Ole is over there and making sure he gets over here, that and the fact we made a bid earleir than expected makes me think we may be fast tracking him. Diouf has some great attributes like pace and heading, but he's very very raw.
I think he's got more than that. Physically he's fantastic, great stamina and work rate, an insane leap, decent strength, and blistering pace, including the Andy Cole-ish sudden burst beyond his marker. I have also been impressed with his general play, his vision and passing, and technique and close control. And he's got a very long finger nail. In other words, he's got the lot but he's inconsistent, at times let down by his decision making, nerves (I think), and often just plain poor execution.

If they'd have played him in natural position for the latter part of the season, i'm fairly sure they would have got something else from him.

I wanted to find some stats of Molde with Mame centrally vs out wide, but I've no idea how to do that in an easy way. So instead I had a look at the results when Mota started, because he usually (or always, I don't know) plays in the middle. They were sort of revealing.
