Wow,

Well that was a bit of a shock. I NEVER would have expected that one!

She is his daughter - so if his son already knows, then she must know too. Therefore she has a case to print if she wants it
I'm not sure the son does know. I think he said something to the effect that his Dad was killing him and his family.

yes he did - but in a way initially to suggest that he knew he was trinity
That is my impression. Dexter thought that he was saying that he knew that his Dad was Trinity at first but then just that he was killing the family figuratively. Which doesn't mean that the family doesn't know. How the older daughter fits in remains to be seen although she is currently No1 candidate for shooting Deb which may well imply that she was protecting her Dad.

The older daughter is the person mentioned at the dinner table I take it, where the younger daughter says she's not such and such a person after Trinity accidently calls her the wrong name. Unless I have my wires crossed, this suggests that father and daughter are at odds and may not be working together, and the older daughter may have no idea about her father being a murderer if she's left home and stays away. It could be that her reasons for shooting Deb are for herself.

Afterall she's a bit obsessive over Deb's partner and could have thought something might have been going on between them. If not, perhaps she shot her just to get the scoop on the story and to try and get the interview with Deb. Creating her own news so that she doesnt lose her job. While I did have a feeling she might have had something to do with the shooting, I didnt see her being Trinity's daughter coming at all.

Vera isn't the reporter, Vera is Trinity's sister who died in the bathtub.

To Moultz

Yeah I loved that too, was a brilliant scene. Dexter just lost all control.

Ah! That makes sense. So we hadnt had any mention of the older daughter till that scene? It would be odd that she isnt part of his family camo and living with them if they are on good terms.

That wasnt my question :P I was asking if there had been any dialogue to suggest there was another daughter in the first place. Obviously that scene was the big reveal, but its even more out of the blue if there's been no suggestion at any point that there were more family members Trinity had fathered.

If there's absolutely nothing till this point, then we dont even know that he doesnt have another son out there or something. Usually things like that are set up somewhat so you feel like you should have seen it coming and it makes sense. But pulling things from nowhere is a bit cheap.

Trinity does what he wants in his own house. He sets the rules and if a person isn't to be talked about then she wouldn't be talked about.

Here's hoping its Quinn. He's fecking irritating and the actor playing him cannot act.

Actually on second thought the Angel-Maria romance is also irritating me so wouldn't mind seeing Maria getting done.

Think it is a bit obvious that they will do the Trinity actually turning out to be a quadruple killer.

Quinn is going to have a confrontation with Dexter at some point, heard rumours the next series may actually be Dexter on the run.

No I'd say the same for anyone. If they hear a rumour say it's a rumour above the spoiler otherwise people will think it's about the latest episode.

I feel like I'm the only one who thinks S3 was up with the same standards as the first two, that or just below. Season 2 tops the lot so far imo with 4 currently challenging.

I loved in S3 how

for the first time somebody actually knew who Dexter really was, barring Lyla, as she never really properly knew. Miguel was a great chaarcter I thought.

do you know solius, i thought miguel was a superb character - he went out of it far too soon imo - they could have explored their relationship much better!

I agree miguel was brilliant and it could have been explored much more. I would probably have all 4 seasons on a par, although season 2 had Lyla maybe the most annoying person on tv ever.

Amazing ending this week and the episode in general was great and it will be interesting to see where they take it now because if anything was to happen to Trinity his family would surely suspect Dex.

Shut up cnut

Did not see the daughter thing coming at all and it creates a whole new dimension, it would seem she shot deb/lundy but what is her motivation? I think it is obvious that Deb will be next on her list as she clearly thinks Quinn has the hots for her and that would mean one thing, Dex will have to kill her too. Could build up tension between Quinn and Dexter which has been boiling nicely for a while.

I don't trust the neighbor at all, he is smarmy and has a big chin.

Can't believe there is only 3 episodes left :(

fecking hell, what an amazing episode.

I thought season 3 was below par the first two season although Miguel was a great actor/character. However the way season 4 is going, it could very well be the best!

don't get me wrong season 3 was still very watchable, just not up to the the standard of the other two seasons and this one.

Out of interest; how many more seasons has Dexter been financed to run?

I was starting to think the writers were out of ideas, but this season has got me thinking that there are still ample possibilities and directions the show can go in. The series does seem to have a good level of longevity.
