Owen never scored a Hat trick for Liverpool or Madrid in the Champions League. He may have in the UEFA Cup back in the day, but as far as I know, this is his first hattrick in Europe

I feel bad for Riether. The guy won't sleep tonight. I'm also happy for Owen and Dzeko. Two players that needed to score.

Ok from now on when owen plays Bahama red has to say is owen even playing.

then we all get to see a hatrick.

Strange goings on with CSKA and doping so wolfsburg may get a break they really dont deserve based on thier performance tonight

So let me get this straight. A full-strength side puts on a dismal performance at Anfield against a side missing their captain yet this make-shift side featuring three midfielders in defense manage to win in Germany against a full-strength side featuring two in-form strikers?

Football for ya.

Really stoked with this win, most happy about a United display in a long time! To win away from home is good. To score 3 goals away from home is better. To do both of those with so many injuries to key players is a class performance by all concerned. Well done lads!
