They weren't particularly exceptional that night, you just suffered because 3/5 of your back line had a poor game. Would Arsenal have won? I don't know - but we've done it before.
They looked exceptional to me.
They weren't firing on all cylinders but they looked like they could cut through United any time they wanted to. Messi missed a glorious opportunity when he went through after a one-two with Villa and there were a few others they carved up. They took the foot off the gas for the last 15 minutes or so, but it's hard to deny Barca were imperious when they wanted to be during the game.

Barca played quite poorly in the final for the first 20 mins giving the ball away under no pressure and misplacing simple passes.
To be fair, it is a whole different game when it's the first leg of a two-leg tie at home vs. a one off final.

You were lucky they switched off for the last 20 minutes at Wembley and just played keep ball, or it could have been 5 or 6.Our incredible home form and their less than stellar performances in away legs.

The argument by Mike dahn sarf is that you're the second best team in Europe since you got to the final. I'm just pointing out that you only did so by avoiding playing Barca until the final.

Your argument that you'd have had Barca's number over two legs doesn't stack up well either..the reason you've failed against them is your inability to keep hold of the ball and string a few passes together.
