Any sort of win and we are through yeah? I'm pretty confident in our away form and our players taking our chances
Don't need a win. Even a scoring draw is good enough if we score two goals.

Yeah hard to disagree with that but it comes down to where we find the £130m roughly it would take for them to sell this summer
Well I know that will obviously be the excuse we use but you have to ask yourself where is the Sancho money we where apparently willing to spend?

Also what did we do with the Lukaku money? Guess it went into the defence.... We tried the let's not replace him experiment and it hasn't worked really.

A top striker is long overdue.

Oh sorry, was thinking this is Milan- United thread. Not Haaland thread.

Will find match thread now. Hopefully, if I can navigate through all these Ole trophies threads..

But still, with the possibility that Ibra plays, he is one of those few players who can make his team win any game.
He can also be a burden to the team depending on the type of game it is.

I would rather have Calabria back than him for this game.

Martial being out actually strengthens our chances as it is less likely he will be on the field of play.
He played well in the recent win against City. He out along with Cavani is a blow to United and a boost to Milan.

Even on Sunday the lack of focal point was clear to see and Martial, Cavani are the best forwards United have to hold up the ball and bring others into play.

We have to score if we are to proceed to the next round. Infact we have to score at-least 2 goals to go through, assuming we don't concede.

With that in mind the whole dynamic of our away tactics go down the shitter. Milan will be happy to park the bus therefore our counter attack tactics that has worked in away fixtures will be of no use. A goal less draw and were out on away goals.

So the question that springs to mind is how will we break down milan and who will score ? Our strikers are injured and rashford's form this season has been to miss a couple of sitters before he scores. With milan parking the bus we won't be getting many chances.

So what I am saying is that its not as easy as others are making it out, infact it is squeaky bum time.

He can for sure, however with the injuries at Milan right now I believe he can be very important. I’ve watched most matches with Zlatan since 1999 and the red thread through his career is his ability to win matches out of nowhere for his team.

With Zlatan in the team, Milan will for sure not press us from the front. Kinda hope Pogba plays then, we will have lots of space.

Bit gutting to not have any striker options off the bench tomorrow meaning Mason & Marcus may will both have to play at least 93/94 mins, really starting to look like Eddy could well be only here for the season isn't it.

Probably the only English club left in Europe not certain to make it through their respective tie.

If we fail here after throwing away our group stage lead in the CL it'll be pretty disappointing.

Should we start Pogba as we have to score in order to progress

People would defend it but it'd be really bad to tbh

I am really spending too much time on the caf, so some time off it would let me focus on more important things. So I propose following: if Zlatan scores, I will not post on here for 2 weeks. If he does not, you will switch to read-only mode for the same period, deal? A harmless bet that would add extra fun to tomorrow's game.
    Done deal!

Lets make it two weeks from Friday so the day after the game, fair play?

Apparently winning cups is a fancy thing so Is expect OgS to rest the first team & play the kids in Milan.

The Milan game isn't a European match. We were knocked out of Europe in December. The Europa League is a tinpot for the losers to fight over. I barely give a shit about how far we get.

Put it this way: I'd rather be knocked out in the first CL knockout stage than get to the EL final and win the trophy.

If you think about it, you know I'm right. The reason being that we only got into this round of the EL by losing to Leipzig. It's a consolation prize at best and waste of time at worst. In no way is this competition preferable to playing and even losing in the round of 16 of the CL. No team would choose United's position over Leipzig's.

The Europa League is our level and has been for almost a decade. As such, it'll be an achievement to win this, and I hope we do.

We won't be competitive in the Champions League anytime soon. Our football is too basic.

Pogba must start, obviously he is fit to get some time, better start him and then sub him. If he comes in the second half it might be too late. Was hoping Cavani would be fit...
Give us that 2-3 performance from about 10 yrs ago
