Rashford looks low on confidence, doesn't appear to have the close control to take players on in the pen box. But a goal sec half will do him wonders so hopefully he'll get full half.

Very good first half by the team, Brighton have rarely threatened and will surely bring Mooy on in order to get a foothold. Must make sure we don’t get too comfortable and lose our focus. This is not over, though I do fancy us to get a third.

Great half. Total dominance. One criticism....I wish we'd play the fast first time pass into the box, there have been some great runs on the burst.

Absolutely delighted with that performance so far. We’ve been in full control since kick off. We have been such a joy to watch. Brighton just look lost for ideas on how to stop us.

More of the same please 2nd half.

Not bad, Rashford needs to find back form, so train your shot Marcus!!! We need you on form! Martial needs to score, etc... but I loved that Bruno and Pogba were working the shots/combination and Pogba liked that Bruno tried the shot and hit the post!

Why is Rashford playing like he's a center mid? Some nice passes to Shaw but come on mate, take on the fullback a bit more.

    He's 18. How?
Was just a joke really, the poster’s implication was Mourinho doesn’t like playing young players. The common perception was he didn’t like Martial so would have happily played an 18 y/o instead.

Greenwood would be this year’s Manager’s Player of the Year.

Shaw has been brilliant today, he needs to play like this all the time with positive runs.

He needs to make these kinds of runs every game for 90 minutes.

Mason also at 18 years old, fantastic honestly... what a player.

They look good. Improving the starting XI now would take exceptional players because we look strong in every position with this starting XI. Squad depth needs to be improved though, massively. The next test is whether they have the mentality to play this way consistently. You can't argue the talent isn't there but you need to be very consistent to challenge City or Liverpool throughout a season.
This will be 15 games unbeaten in the PL for us (and counting) so the consistency is there. Yeah, squad depth is hugely important these days. 1 forward, 1 CM, and a new CB in Maguires level (preferably one with pace to make up for his partners shortcomings) and we'll be fine in that area.

All I want is for pogba to sign a new contract now. We actually have a quality first 11 that is also balanced.

Shame my unreliable viewing source kept cutting out as that was good to watch.
I'd like us to put them to the sword and make the most of this as I see top 4 coming down to goal difference

By far the best attacking form I have seen from United post Fergie. We had few other periods in which we looked great going forward in the last 7 years but this is the best one, because of how consistent it's. Too many options on the field in every spot it's ridiculous. No opponent can contain all this. Finally we're seeing a great offensive United side that don't depend on just one player or one side.

Block the left where Rashford and Shaw are ? There're Martial, Pogba and Bruno centrally. Try to block this too and you'll have Greenwood on the right. Impossible to keep all these quiet. We're attacking from everywhere on the pitch and not just from a single side. Each attack is different from the previous one. A joy to watch really.
This is what it looks like to be a proper team. As you say, teams can't just triple mark Pogba or Martial and get a result anymore. We finally have options over the pitch. We're a joy to watch right now. :D

Why not? Sancho is only 20 himself and he won't be starting every game either. How do City manage to rotate and give games to Sane, Sterling, B.Silva and Mahrez? What you're saying defies logic.
This always happens on the Caf: a young player does well and suddenly people start suggesting that we shouldn't sign anyone in their position, lest we hinder their development by making them fight for their place in the team.

Greenwood can play anywhere in the forward line, he's still only 18, we'll play a shitload of games - if we have a genuine chance of getting someone of Sancho's talent, we should go for it.

Nothing against Williams, but how could you possibly prefer him over Shaw? Shaw has been great since the restart, with so many attacks going through him.
I just think Williams is more adventurous and lively. I'm not sure about Shaw being "great", but this depends on people's level of greatness. Imho, he's just solid.

Still think OGS should be fired ?

So far so good, hopefully another clean sheet is kept 2nd half, more goals there for United if they want them.

I was thinking that, pogba picked him out with a class cross field pass which gave rashford space and one on one with the defender
I’m thinking run at him, go for a cut back and he just played the easy sideways pass

If we're 5-0 up sure. The decisive one, i just couldn't. He needs a goal badly though i agree.
We look like we can score for fun right now. We 2 up. Him taking one now is not going to change the games outcome. Unless Chris Houghton pulls out the world's best half time talk, we have this game.
Often players who haven't scored in a minute get a chance through a pen. But yeah, they also say 2 nil lead is the worst kind, for some reason.

You are looking like a top team again. I had a feeling you benefitted against us because of how poor we are but you’ve repeated that performance again tonight. Greenwood looks a very classy player too that goal was special.

He's constantly available down that left-flank.

Surprisingly, but Rashford was our worst performer in the first half
