Memphis with some brainless play reminiscent of Nani at Stamford Bridge years ago.

Just hold the f'cking ball if you can't play a simple ball inside!

    JUST HOLD THE BALLUP!
Yeah blame Memphis for the team being sat on a 1-0 lead in the 70th minute, suppose it's his fault we only had 7% possession for the last 15 too as well?

In a normal season that would be a good point but needed three points here and we were by far the better side. Threw it away by allowing them on to us too much in last 15 mins. Poor substitution is enough for me to think time for a different substitution Jose for Van Gaal

feck off Oliver. feck off Chelsea. feck off Memphis.

If it wasn't for DDG Chelsea could've won it by 3 or 4 goals to 1.

Top 4 gone. Better win the Europa, LVG. Shit subs as always.
Are we just pretending Coutois didn't pull off some sublime saves then?

Blind, not Bo-Jack, is to be held accountable for the goal.

I'm on about the fecking game that just finished. Easily the better team, till we decided we didn't need the ball anymore.
To say we were easily better for 75 mins is dead wrong. We essentially had 45 mins each in terms being the better team. Or would you say that we bossed the entirety of the 1st or 2nd half?

Each to their own, I thought we played well for 96 mins, Chelsea are not the shit people make out. We stopped using Martial in the second half.
we dropped him deeper and left rooney to run the line alone. I never never understand that tactic. hate one up front

And all of those chances DDG saved came from Memphis?
Nope, though bringing a player on that is inept at keeping possession didn't help. They absolutely battered us in the final 20 minutes, we were clinging on for dear life with the amount of fouls we conceded in and around our box. It was inevitable they would score.

How does bringing on Memphis - a winger with zero defensive instincts, who we've seen countless times is just not very good at doing it - when we're in the last 5/10 minutes and defending a one goal lead - make sense?

Why did we allow Mata to run around for 90 minutes when he was clearly knackered from about the 75 minute mark?
CBJ missed the offside play. It was his fault. But the Memphis sub didn't make any sense. Neither did his shit decision not to run it into the corner and then decide to jog back after losing possession.

Ok, maybe not the Memphis one, but Schneiderlin for Fellaini made tactical sense and normally should've allowed to not abandon possession so much.

Very annoyed at Memphis for his idiotic pass just before their goal.

That was Memphis' if he hadn't fecked up a simple pass we'd have one and if he had been arsed to actually track back and do his defensive duties properly then we'd have one.

CBJ played Costa onside and that's where experience counts.

I can't remember Courtois doing too much other than making that save from Martial. The others were fairly routine I thought. DDG easily had the tougher saves to make.
I think you need to watch the highlights chap.

Now that we've gotten our fixture at Stamford Bridge out of the way, I would not object to United completing the transfer for Mourinho.

    This shit has to stop.

Some great performances all over the pitch today for us. Can't fault any players performance. Mata looked to tire towards the end, Damian too. Other than that. Great game of football.

We were the better team in general. Until we scored and played laughably badly. A draw, in that context, is a fair result. But we shot ourselves in the foot over the last 15 minutes or so.

It's small margins at this level.

An experienced player would have held it up, held the position or at least played a safe ball.
Not play a stupid risky ball.

Why the heck we had so many players racing in like that I don't know bearing in mind we played ultra defensively for most of the half.

Gutting. Keeping it to 5 points when Tottenham had a much easier game would have been a great weekend.
    This is near on disastrous.

Certainly have to beat Arsenal at home now, and assume we can do Sunderland away.

Fair result overall, but damm DDG deserved to win the game. So fecking pissed.

Lvg as usual fecking it up, sending in a player with his confidence completely shattered in such a important game with minutes to go and under pressure by chelsea.

We sat deep and let them dominate the last 18 minutes of the game. Their goal was inevitable. A disapointing end to a good game.

I liked that chip by Rooney...not far off.
No it's a cop out. Whenever it's the time to be 'serious' and try to make an effective chance, e.g take the ball further, hold onto it longer (thus inviting pressure) to play a pass to a team mate or try to strike the ball cleaner to the far post etc, he more often than not tries the easy fancy sh|t. It's a pathetic 'effort'.

It's like when Balotelli does his tricks or non efforts; it's not skill or trying to be creative, it's pure laziness and trying to deflect from the fact that you have to make an effort and always be mentally alert to try and make the right decision.

Horrific 20 minutes... We had that coming.
Agree 100% - we were too far back and we should have been at least 10 yards further up waiting for them. That's where the Manager can guide the team if he deigns to go down to the touchline!
