Absolutely crucial we some how eke out a win today. I don't care who we play, just somehow get a win to go 4 points behind City.

A win and we're right in the mix for a top 4 place. Arsenal aren't on great form, neither are City and their fixture congestion is getting quite heavy and have injuries to De Bruyne and now Silva (albeit not long term for him). Leicester and Spurs are looking strong but there will be questions about how they can both handle the pressure. Crucial game for us. Bare minimum is a point.

Some of the papers say there could be a red card today and also there might be some goals. These feckers get paid for this.
Them speculating feckers. I can say for certain that there will be that awful 'Chelsea' chant...and, yup, blue plastic flags.

Feeling a bit confident for this which has rarely been the case when visiting Stamford Bridge.
A boring 2-1 to United sounds about right.

Am I right in thinking this is the first time United has faced Diego Costa?

It might be a job for Fellaini. I hope he goes all Undertaker on him. Eyes roll back, and then a chokeslam through the grass. Buried.

In two minds whether to put Fellaini or Schneiderlin in my predicted team.

Fellaini will give us that aerial presence in both boxes and is generally much more of a threat going forward, whereas Schneiderlin will provide us that much needed protection in front of the back four, as we know the Chelsea front four do a lot of interchanging and like getting in between the lines.

According M.E.N. Januzaj not in squad as he was seen in city centre bar Manchester House last night celebrating his birthday, but Jones might be.

Desparate for us to win this - couldn't care less about how we play - just need those 3 points.

This is a must win now. It was before but if we lose then the gap will not be closed in my opinion and may as well pack up the season in terms of the league - focus on Europa and FA Cup primarily

A win today makes us 4 points behind City.

More importantly though, a win today gives us a 4 point lead over West Ham

I didn't have Fellaini in my XI but I think you're right about LVG using Fellaini to feck with Costa. Costa has his reputation and even though he knows he's the one who's doing the winding up I can see Fellaini getting under his skin first and then Diego getting himself sent off for retaliation on a physically weaker player like Blind, whom I'm sure Costa will be targeting in the first place.

Chelsea just don't lose under Hiddink.

If we can get a win though, it'd be huge.

City play Spurs and Arsenal play Leicester next week. A win today and against Sunderland along with City & Spurs drawing and Arsenal losing to Leicester would leave the table looking like this:

    Leicester - 56
    Spurs - 49
    City - 48
    Arsenal - 48
    United - 46

With Arsenal then coming to Old Trafford

Arsenal finish always in top 4, and never win the title.

I think that we won't finish in top 4, but if we do, it would be above City. Think that Leicester, Spurs and Arsenal will finish ahead of us.
