I've always thought he was fairly overrated off a few very good games but usually had a consistent positive effect on us. But yeah, now he's just atrocious.This is a decent game. First 20 minutes were a bit tentative then we put a little move together and since then it’s like they’ve recalled the principle of passing and movement.
There are still moments when you have to question what they are doing as they often pick the wrong pass, take the long way, don’t make an offer and there has been quite a few times I’ve been waiting for a fullback to pop in to the picture going at pace to receive a ball and it just doesn’t happen.
However as soon as we started playing at pace we looked so much better. Everton making a game of it as well.
We are doing better than the last game but on what planet are we playing well? Herrera has been garbage. How can constantly giving the ball away and making the wrong decision be playing well?I don't know how anyone can watch the striker performances of Ibra, Rashford and now Martial and still think we're better off without Lukaku.
