    Gaz. Is a Mewling Quim.
Surprised Pogba didn't start ahead of Matic or Rashford, but okay. I wonder if his contract issues played a part in that decision.
More likely that Ramadan has played a major part in the decision tbh. First week is (apparently, I’m not Muslim myself so can’t really comment) the most difficult as your body is adjusting, very possible that he’s a bit tired so better to be looking at 20 minutes of him where he can give it some than 60/70 where he tires, particularly given he’s had his issues around fatiguing ever since he had covid.

We have never lost to a Lampard-coached team in the PL. That's something. Maybe.

It will be interesting to see if he goes at it super-defensively like he did when he last visited Trafford (with Chelsea), or if there's a more attacking approach. I hope it's the latter, and that we won't have 90 minutes of Michael Keane heading away hopeful crosses.

I’ve just accepted we’re going to lose, because all the stars are aligning for Everton’s ‘great escape‘ …starting with our team who are going to give them a kickstart because our guys don’t give a feck quite frankly.

At least if I think like that, I don’t get annoyed later.

    That makes sense.

I struggle to believe both Matic and Rashford would start ahead of Pogba for tactical purposes, regardless of form.

Anyone else find it weird how the BT people are just on the pitch? Just chatting about Rashford whilst he warms up behind them.

Yes, I was thinking that. It was almost like to make the players hear on purpose. Don't think I have seen that before.

Pogba has downed his tools quite some time ago. He’s not only the only one, but the manner in which he’s just put his feet on the table and told all of us to fukk off has been quite remarkable.

As we near the end of this season, I'm reflecting upon all the pundits that said this squad has the potential to compete for the title.

As a fan I wanted to believe the hype, but the reality of the character and lack of abilities of the majority our side were clearly obvious.
I'm worried that the Glazers will not invest in players as a new manager is due to come in, delay tactic.

Probably the worst team in the league on current form. If losing to Everton isn't a massive shock then it isn't a shock losing to anybody

True while I've no doubt Everton will raise their game on current form they are in dire straits and if we don't win by at least a couple of goals it will be shocking

I found it weird how many excuses they all had for his poor form.

Playing at Goodison is never easy. We couldn’t even beat Watford or fecking Middlesbrough !

That’s disgraceful If true. I’m sorry but a professional athlete being paid hundreds of thousands a week should not be allowing Ramadan or any religious festival from affecting their performances.

Despite the post-match social media apologies and comments to work hard, most of us know that the players are just not with it when it comes to remaining games in the PL. Everton, as terrible as they are, just have to up their effort levels to win the 50/50s and press and our defence will crumble like a deck of cards!

Yep, we still have top 4 to play for ,believe it or not, and a experienced and leading figure at the club basically downing tools so openly wasn't exactly what United or Rangnick needed.

    Jake Humphrey is insufferable.
It’s hilarious how much his peers despise him as well. Search Twitter posts about him and you’d be surprised how many of them love to shit on him at any given opportunity

I woke up this morning quite happy, thinking that we'll give Everton a proper pasting. About to open them up like a tin of beans.

Then, the more I've thought on it, the more my excitement has transformed into..well...we might scrape a draw?

Just can't tell with our lot. Or theirs, for that matter. They're more consistently shit, so that gives me optimism.

Wish BT would just get Lineker to do all their games, Humphrey is the new Keys for being inexplicably smug

AWB against Richarlison and/or DCL isn't a matter of 'they might score from crosses to that post', it's a matter of how many.

At least Dalot can handle himself in the air. Absolutely mental selection to me.
