I think Rooneys dreaming hes back at Everton, thats his last 3 touches in final third, have all gone to everton players
It's not game over.
BFS ignoring the whistle
thank youRooney doesn't feck up every pass. Doesn't get slated.
Mother Abigail loves a bit of Rooney! Not many will know what I'm on about...It's often true and I would usually defend him
He started well today but now his passing in the last 10 mins has been very sloppy
You might want to look at the second goal again and who held up the ball and gave it to Bastian. But hey, why give him credit when he does something very well right?I genuinely think we'll play better with 10 men than with Rooney in the team. At least that way he won't be killing our attack or getting in the way of Martial.

Thought so too. Martial wanted handball. Replay didn't clear that up.Handball surely?
The criticism should fit the crime. The hyperbole regarding Rooney is hard to take seriously. I've never seen a bigger over reaction towards a player, ever. Has he been good? No. Has he been as bad as some would have us believe? Hell no.So we should be content with him playing back passes and doing little else? FFS, hes our top earner, we expect a little more than that
He's been alright, but had some shocking passes and seems to be off the pace. Still, we've seen worse matches, and yeah, a lot of people on here don't want to be even-handed in their criticism. At this point what's the point. Regardless of Rooney being playing well, or playing poorly, there is an element on the CAF that will tar and feather him no matter what he does.
For the record, he was instrumental in the buildup for the first goal (or maybe it was the second, controlled it in a crowd and played it out to keep the build up going)
