We’ll struggle against Fulham with that team, but we should be able to get the 3 points.
Team needs a rest before PSG.

We really need to rest Young, Matic and Rashford. I wish we'd try Sanchez on the right for this but that never seems to happen.

McTominay, Lukaku & Fred will start this most likely. This will be a completely different United to what we are used to.

Win the game early. Wrap Pogba, Rashford and Martial in cotton wool for PSG.
Sanchez , Mata and Lukaku the replacements.

Light week of training this week, most of our guys can play Saturday noon Tuesday 8pm.

    Rest Matic and maybe Young.

    DDG
    Dalot - Lindeloff - Bailly - Shaw
    Fred - Herrea
    Pogba
    Lingard --------- Martial
    Rashford

Hopefully get 2 up early and if before HT get Pogba, Herrera off as they are starting to look tired.

Play the best team after a week of rest.
Maybe give Matic a rest as I dont see Fulham threatening us a lot.

    DDG
    Young-Bailly-Lindelof-Shaw
    Fred-Herrera-Poga
    Lingard-Rashford-Martial

Can make changes after 60 minutes if we are 2 or more goals up.

I'd like to see Bailly and Lindelof get another game together before the PSG match, only 2 changes I'd make is Dalot in for Young and Fred in for Matic with Ander moving into the holding role for this game.

    Dalot - Bailly - Lindelöf - Shaw
    Fred - Herrera - Pogba
    Mata - Lukaku - Martial

Should be good enough to beat Fulham and gives a run out for Fred, Lukaku, Dalot and Mata.

They are sh*te. I’d rotate but not as heavily as some on here.

    De Gea
    Dalot - Lindelof - Smalling - Shaw
    Herrera - Fred
    Mata - Pogba - Sanchez
    Rashford
How is Sanchez in the team on the basis of today's showing? Considering Martial is back and rested, he should start the game.

Rest Matic & Rashford completely for PSG. Get the result early doors and bring on Mata for Pogba, McTominay for Herrera and Greenwood on for Martial with Lukaku on the right and Sanchez moved to the left.

Ole's normal XI please with Martial back in. Whatever happens against PSG happens but make no mistake this is the more important game

Even so, you can't bring all those kids and changes then expect to compete well in the premiere league. We've just had an incident where we tweeked a bit against a team that everyone thought should be a banker regardless of team put out there and ended up dropping points at home.
I only see 2 kids in the side I suggested?

We are still in the race for top four!!!!!!!!! Wow. What am I seeing??? This is to embarrassing!!!

In all seriousness, I believe one or both of our fullbacks needs to rested. And maybe Matic or Herrera. Early substitution is needed, so hopefully we can come out aggressively and have this won by half time.
Its very naïve to think we can go into a run of 3 of the highest intensity games without giving key players a rest. Seriously our second string will beat Fulham..

Start Pogba on the bench, get a few goals and then rest Matic and Rashford. Would be my perfect result.

Really hope we play the strongest XI we can. If we rest players, I hope it's because they need a break and not because PSG is coming up, I hate that shite.

League is the priority - always is, always will be. Burnley proved we shouldn't mess with the side too much.

Massive chance to move into 4th with Chelsea playing City away, we need to win this one. Start with our strongest 11 and make changes if we get a comfortable lead.

Why not win the game first and then rest whoever needs to be rested? There's opportunity to move into top 4 and put early pressure so why take any risk?
Plus there's enough time between the 3 big games to recover.

They are better under Raneriri, but not by much. Rotation is needed and this is the game to take the risk on, but the key Is not to overdo it.

    Romero

    Dalot, Lindelof, Bailley, Young

    Herrea, Matic, Fred

    Greenwood, Sanchez, Martial

    Subs
Grant, Darmian, Smalling, McTom, Perreira, Gomes, Lukaku

I'm not keen on resting the CBs as i wantnto get a partnership going. Pogba has taken far too many knocks, while Rashford and Lingard put a lot of effort in.

I'd like to rotate the other two in midfield, but that is an area where I would not trust our cover for an en-masse rotation. If we have a good lead then I'd look there 1st.

Martial and Sanchez should be fairly fresh after shirt periods out on injury, while I think, this is a game where OGS has to back youth.

    Pretty much this.

Some people are forgetting that we're fighting for top 4 and right now it's more important than our champions league campaign this season(due to the difference of likelihood in managing to accomplish the desired result with respect to each of those competitions).

Winning against Fulham takes full priority over PSG right now.

Could really do with a few early goals here to kill any Fulham enthusiasm. Take players off and move onto the next one.

I would like for him to get a start or at least get some minutes, depending on his fitness. Not long until PSG, and we're gonna need him for that. Playing him should give our attackers more freedom, we have had a couple of tough games but we should show no fear against Fulham.

Unbeaten in a 11 ties against Fulham. Winning 9, drawing 2. One of which was the infamous 2-2 Moyes-ball match featuring a thousand cross'.
Last League defeat was in 2009.Lost that game 3-0.Murphy,Zamora and Duff were on the scoresheet that day.
Remember that 2009 game. Guess we had Fletcher and Carrick at CB. Also got a red (or 2) i guess

Was that the game following the 1-4 defeat to Liverpool? I remember we lost to Fulham the next game then the famous Villa match came.

Yep. I think we tried going 3 at the back because we had no fit defenders.

Yeah these 2 matches on the run were a disaster Glad Villa match came next because we really needed it.

Miss these days of tension while we're leading the league.

We could start with lukaku, dalot, Fred and Mata for this one. Surely these are players capable of doing the job against fulham.

Burnley are a significantly better team but fulham should be comparatively easier.

Not to mention , the likes of rashford, matic and young are in dire need of a rest

Anything other than a big win will not really be good enough. Fulham are very poor and we need to win this to say in contention because the rest of Feb is tough to say the least

We cant make too many changes - we've played ourselves well and truly into a European slot and to drop a bollock against a relegation team would be suicide. Matic definitely needs to sit this one out though

    What I would play:

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Smalling Dalot
    Pereira
    Fred Pogba
    Mata Lukaku Sanchez
I'd expect a semi scrappy win with that. Hopefully substitute Pogba as soon as we go a couple of goals up. Goal keepers don't need to be rested and I think Lindelof, Jones, Shaw, Young, Matic, Herrera, Martial, Rashford and Lindgard will come in for the PSG game.

Why are people including McTominay, Pereira and Fred in their line ups? I don't care if someone's legs fall off, I'm not resting key players and losing 3 points in the league knowing I have a minuscule chance of doing anything in the CL even if we beat PSG.

After yesterday I'd rest Rashford. He just didn't look the same after that knock. Would also rest some players. Thought Matic looked off the pace for example. I'd play like this:

    DDG
    Valencia - Jones - Smalling - Dalot
    McTominay
    Fred - Pogba
    Mata
    Lukaku - Martial

We need players like Rashford, Matic, Herrera, Lindelof and Shaw to be fresh for PSG so I'd rest them.

Martial will probably start, he hasn't started in the last 3 games and he needs game time to be sharp enough for PSG.

There's even an argument that the Fulham game is more important.
    We aren't winning the CL.

No we can't, at least not against the likes of Fulham.

Our run in is one of the hardest with Arsenal having the easiest. We need to rack up as much points as possible against these weaker teams so we'd have some space to breath when we start facing other top 6 teams in our remaining fixtures.
