The game at Old Trafford is one of those games I'd watch again just to be entertained, what an absolutely ridiculous game of football that was.

If Villa gets a result tonight and we do win this, we're 5 points behind like someone pointed out. It's still a gap but it's back to a race then.

Can happily say, I am once again looking forward to the game and hope the manager and players arn't to affected by recent events, if anything they should be raring to go with a point to prove, after all, there is and should be no blame on them. Protests against the owners though are very much welcome and in demand!

I reckon we blast them again, our style is perfect for a man marking team such as Leeds and we have been defensively sound for a while, minus set pieces. Going 3-0!
Why should they be affected by something they have no control over? They're pros and get insane wages to do a job, just get on with it....;)

I really looking forward to this game after the strangest football days of my life....

I don't think we blast them like before but I believe its a win!
I got a feeling Bielsa has a little different approach to the games now. They look a bit smarter in there movements, and do not attack like headless chickens.
last 5 games for Leeds include draw against Chelsea and Liverpool, win against ManCity, Fulham and Sheffield U.
    Not to bad.

    Give peas a chance.
It's so weird to be thinking about football (actual football again). Hopefully Villa can get a result against City tonight and then this game becomes very tasty indeed.

I may be the oldest guy on here or one of the oldest, aged 68. Supported United since I can remember through thick and thin. We got a mauling by the media for withdrawing from the FA Cup to play in the FIFA world club championship. ‘Disrespecting the competition’ etc, this despite the FA asking us to go. This ESL situation will be the same, the ABU’s will be out in force but we will recover because we always do. The Leeds players will still wear the tee shirts just to wind up our players who, if they have any pride, will inspire them to play the proper United way and attack Leeds from the off and make the point it was nothing to do with them.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I think it will be a classic. It's going to have some real bite, both sides know what to expect now, and Leeds will have something to prove. We're going to win, obviously, but I expect them to give us a real fight.

Hard to predict what this will be like now. They'll be fired up, we'll be ruffled. In theory the way they play suits us - and we saw that at OT - but when they get their game right they can take points off anyone.

Couldn't call the result if you put a gun to my head.

Think we would have felt a bit more fired up if City had dropped points tonight, ah well lets go and get second then maybe give ourselves a chance of Ole equalling Jose's 81 points

18 years since a Elland Road Leeds United v Man United Premier League encounter. That was a 1-0 win for Man United with Roy Keane scoring the winner with his head with 10 minutes to play.

Leeds started a 17 year old that day by the name of James Milner and Man United had their own teen starter in Ronaldo whom was in his debut season.

Leeds will play to Oles counter attack strengths and can see us winning this quite comfortably. Be a 4-2, 5-2 win.

Think we draw or maybe lose this one. They’ll want revenge for the OT result.
They only know how to play one way: all out attack, and will continue to play that way regardless of how the game is going. I wouldn't be surprised if we scored another 5.

Pogba, Greenwood and Cavani are all in very good form at the moment. Rashford was great against Burnley too.

Another win to keep us comfortably away from the top 4 hoi polloi would be nice.

It is going to be a very interesting game for sure no matter what. It may not be so easy as some make it out to be.

Would definitely leave Rashford out of this one and probably give Victor's back a little more rest ahead of the Roma game. Bailly could use a game and James should be effective with the space Leeds leave in behind.

I wonder if it's going to be another Bielsa masterclass & that they'll batter us 2-6 again?

Not that I'm obsessed with commentators and pundits or anything ...

Yes, the FA asked us to play in the FIFA World Club Championship, so as not to jeopardise England's bid to stage the 2006 World Cup (which was awarded to Germany). Had we not gone, we would have been slaughtered by the ABU's and media for destroying England's World Cup staging bid. Either way, we couldn't win on that one.

BTW, I'm two years younger than you are, so your record isn't challenged yet.

Even then, if the FA Cup Third Round was scheduled as normal in January, United wouldn’t have had a problem fulfilling their fixtures. The FA completely dropped the ball that season. There was only a problem because they moved the FA Cup Third Round to December (which was a PR disaster never repeated, but largely forgotten because of United’s withdrawal overshadowing it). They did so, as they had a panic about fitting all the potential replays that season, completely overlooking what would have happended if an English side won in Europe and got invited to the Club World Cup. Looking back on it, you it is difficult to understand how United got all the criticism. We did absolutely nothing wrong.

Just to add, if Leeds do what they did to Liverpool and put the shirts in our dressing room too, I imagine our lads will wear them too.

I have supported Utd, since 1956, when Leeds were basically nothing, then promoted, their fans thinking they were cock of the north, causing damage to O.T., and the city, serious scum supporters and will do the same once allowed back into the stadium. Was really hoping that they would be relegated this season so we do not have to put up with their supporters. So I hope we inflict a serious defeat on them.

The Arsenal fans showed us the way with their protest against Kroenke last night. I hope we respond with an equally impressive protest against our owners tomorrow.

Really hope we rest Rashford, apparently he hasn't trained this week. We've made a habit of rushing him back and it needs to stop, he plays so much better when rested and fully fit (as seen at Burnley), plus we have bigger games coming up when we'll need him more. I'd go with this team:

    ------------------Henderson----------------------

    AWB-------Maguire-----Lindelof------Shaw

    ------------McTominay----Fred-----------------

    Greenwood---------Bruno----------Pogba

    ----------------------Cavani-----------------------

Rashford and James to come off the bench and mercilessly counter them after they've run themselves ragged for 60-odd minutes.

Supported United for 42 years, through thick and thin.

I always look forward to games against our true rivals, but I feel flat for this.

I'm genuinely saddened by the actions of the last few days - as United's always been a huge part of my life.

I just don't care about this match, and honestly, I may even skip it. . as it will annoy me more just watching it.
Its strange how the past few days have affected people. To me whatever the Glazers did has nothing to do with the footballing side -- the coach/staff and the players nor the supporters.
