I'm better than Messi (even though I'm not)
All these teams making snide remarks about the Super League teams but they know full well other than the owners nobody associated with the clubs wanted this. It’s getting boring now using it as a stick to attack the whole club. I hope we smash these feckers and I think we will, 1-4.

Struggles with quick pressing. This is his worst type of team to play against.
Yeah, he does. Although he has been playing up on the left a bit recently where he's not too much of a hindrance in that respect. Losing the ball there isn't as damaging.

Truly unbelievable we had people on here celebrating their promotion last season. They were so happy for them to be back.
I was delighted to see them relegated, and it was great for a while, but when they became completely irrelevant,
I realised i missed hating them so much I'm glad they are back in the Premier league, because now I can hate them again

Happy with McFred. Pogba will come in the second half hopefully by then just to to take the piss and he will start vs Roma.

Wouldn't surprise me if Pogba doesn't play again until second half against Milan. He's fasting, so Ole will be managing his fitness/stamina in the same way as if he was coming back from injury.

The physios probably don't think he can play 90 minutes on Sunday and then again on Thursday with limited calories.
He's fasting? Seriously?! I had no idea elite athletes did that.

Saw the line up, thought what on earth is James doing there, then I remembered, he is like Messi against Leeds. I think there will be goals in this game for both sides, Maguire and Lindeloff are going to get skinned. We just need to score more than them.

Technically he doesn't have to fast against Roma as he will be exempt as a traveller.

Yep, and if Leeds owners were invited they would have signed up, guaranteed.

Never took the time to invest any effort in learning about them because they’ve always been a bit shit since football was widely broadcast in the states, we’ve rarely ever played them. Don’t think I’ve ever met a Leeds’ fan over here in a pub, etc.

It’s always been interesting to see them referred as ‘scum’ & the quick, intense passion they elicit from our supporters in here, but not understanding any of it like I do with Liverpool or City.
Classic club. Not far away from rivaly that we have with Liverpool / ManCity. Some would even say that "hate" is bigger between our clubs then with ManCity but I guess it is older generation. Nicknamed war of roses and the history between clubs goes back long, long, long way.

Shame that no fans are allowed. Usually gets pretty heated when two clubs meet.

Only the one change from win over Burnley (James for Pogba) going for the pace of Rashford and James on the wings against Leeds again at least if things aren't going well Pogba, Cavani will be plan B.

Expecting a tough match unlike the Old Trafford encounter, leeds unbeaten in 5 games which included games against Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City.

    Thanks. Appreciate the context.

Now I have more reason to hate them besides the appalling grammar displayed in that banner.

Can't believe some people are saying they can't get excited for the game given what happened in the week - to me the ESL was a load of bollox and this is the real thing

Bad team selection - lack of technical quality upfront is going to cost us. Mason was playing so well off the bench
    What?

It's the same side that beat them 6-2 with Greenwood and Henderson instead of Martial & DDG

and Greenwood is in better form than Martial was

Rashford didn't train all week then he's a starter, was rested weeks ago too (injury). VdB treatement is trully criminal.

Leeds fans with a caustic message for us outside the ground.

Hmm, one club spent within their means and dominated for the best part of 20 years, the other overstretched, paid ridiculous fees and wages and ended up league one.

    Not bitter at all though.....

Leeds are ridiculously suspectable to a pacy counter, and you're confused as to why Ole's gone with Rashford over VdB? The loyalty to a player who has been largely shit for us so far is bizarre.

No I get it but Rash was played injured all season imo.

I think it'll be like the last game. James playing off the left (like Pogba did). Then Rashford and Greenwood interchanging regularly between CF and RWF. I thought the latter two did really well against Burnley sharing those duties.

I've gone for us to win 3-1 today. Feeling quite optimistic about this. Hoping that we can get an early goal or two to make ourselves settle. I'll be very surprised if it's anything but a good game to watch.

I've jinxed it now, I know.
