If you're a betting man you bet on Liverpool to win by 2 goals or more.

    2-2
We need more than Matic tonight to help protect the defence, not sure who else we have so he will probably have to select Pogba. Hopefully it does end up a draw and who knows Liverpool could have an off day and we win the game.

This saying put Jones in midfield are the type of people I can get behind.

No chance we win conventionally so just throw as much weird shit against the wall as possible. Stick Maguire up front and Matic at right back.

It will be 5 in the morning when the match starts here in Australia. I’ve set my alarm. Hope I don’t regret it

We haven't done the league double over you guys since 13/14. A win tonight would be the first time since 2009 we win three league games in a row.
I'll never know how you didn't do the double over us in 18/19. I seem to remember we were ravaged by injuries which included rushing Lingard back who lasted about 10 minutes. Held you to a 0-0 at OT, after you'd done us at Anfield in Jose's final game.

went from expecting a 10-0 slaughtering to a 3-0 game that is done by half time and then Liverpool just drop down a couple gears with it being over. basically a training session like the first game.

I think the latter is more likely than the former. Once the game is won, it'll just be a precession with Klopp asking his team to save energy and they'll just knock it around us.

I'm not refusing to understand your point, your point is absolutely fecking ridiculous and if you're older than about 12 then it's frankly concerning you can't get your heard around that.
What's so ridiculous about using the idea of ''stopping Liverpool to win quadruple'' as part of the motivation?

I've already explained it, multiple times. For the players it shouldn't even enter their heads before the game.

Because it's incredibly small time, mate. We aren't some plucky little lower league side. Who gives a shit what Liverpool are doing? Focus on ourselves and get our own house in order.

So you feel nothing if Liverpool win quadruple this season? Weird. I was expecting the whole United fans feel the same way that we will hate it so much to see them winning quadruple this season.

The manager has just called all the players shit.

Think id go with a front 3 of Rashford/Sancho/Elanga

Midfield of Matic/Bruno/Pogba and just tell them to keep it tight, look to counter where possible.

We always have the chance of sneaking a goal if we go long behind TAA.

I fear for Telles up against Salah today.

Go out there and play Mourinho/Simeone ball with as many donkeys with heart as we can field. Scramble like mad on corners and set plays and make it as hellish a game as can be. Wimbledon/Burnley/Stoke and any other spirit of oafs that can be summoned.

If Ralf is naive enough to try and play an open game, this might be the biggest embarrassment of the season, if not the last few years, which is saying a lot.

Wreck It Ralf! invoke all donkey spirits and give them hell!

Because it's pathetic. Concentrate on yourselves.
Imagine United fans call United player a pathetic by showing their hate on Liverpool which something that the fans are supposed to love to hear, never be me.

Jesus christ. Happy to discuss this at Anfield later if you seriously don't get it?

I would get it if we are challenging the UCL but we are not, we are out. Does it make sense for United fans to call United player a pathetic after express how they hate it to see Liverpool win quadruple?

For one I've called a hypothetic situation pathetic. It is an incredibly small time mentality to go into one game hoping to stop Liverpool winning four trophies, especially given that one game can't actually stop them winning anything. They players will be focused on trying to win the game for Manchester United.

Usually I'm optimistic but this is going to be a blood bath.
That should be our plan, in a literal sense. We need to be aggressive, fly into tackles, and test Liverpool players resolve to risk injuries to win the match. They have a big month ahead of them and everything to lose if key players hobble off tonight. We need to be like that filthy Leeds site when they faced up against Cloughie's side when he refused to rest players for Europe. Get stuck in and test them out and don't shy away from any challenge.

Liverpool didn't back off in the earlier fixture out of kindness. Their players started backing out of challenges and didn't mess around on the ball too long because they feared the next challenge could end their season.

We absolutely need a result tonight, so we don't deliberately get half the team sent off to put the Liverpool team in hospital. But we certainly make life as difficult and painful as possible for them, just like they used to do to us when Fergie was pissing all over their achievements.

Of all the games to have an injury crisis...
This will show who is ready to battle for the cause.

Have a feeling we may see something a bit strange in the starting XI from Ralf, e.g. Jones starting in CM.

How about Bruno at false 9?

    DDG

    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Telles

    Mctominay Fred

    Pogba

    Sancho Bruno Rashford
It will take a miracle to get anything from the game no matter what system or tactics we deploy, so why not experiment a little?

Think we need as much pace in the break as possible, as well as Pogba and Bruno to play balls in behind.

I’d go for Sancho, Elanga and Rashford up top. We need to put in a counter attacking display which we’ve never seen from a Ralf side as of yet. Sit in and attack 3 v 3 is our only hope of getting something - our passing in their half has to be accurate as hell for this tactic to work though.

Yep. We need to play the likes of Jones, Bailly, Matic etc tonight. I would not be against a Matic-Jones midfield, with 3atb. Have Bruno, Sancho and Elanga up front.
