Will Walker play? That dopey cnut and his 99 pace nullifies any counter threat we offer on the left.
Probably. He's played pretty much every game he's been fit for lately and Guardiola always picks him against us for exactly the reason you mention.

People wanting to Amrabat to be dropped even though we have been playing better in the last few games with him starting.
Casemiro had plenty of chances this season in midfield, but was one of the reasons our midfield was getting dismantled.

When was the last time a side going for the double in an FA Cup Final didn't complete it? Liverpool in 88?

Oh wait it was us in 2007 wasn't it?

Amrabat is just not good enough.
He is very very slow and is constantly in danger of losing the ball.
Casemiro also may be able to score a header .

Really would be nice to win this. The Dopamine rush would last for months. Just wish these players could play with some fire and anger for once.

If an FA Cup Final against your local rivals doesn't do it for you, nothing will. I think even these players will be up for it.

Hopefully, City will have put Grealish in charge of all the post-title celebrations and their players will still be drunk.

I don't really understand where it comes from that our players aren't bothered. There was a point a couple of seasons ago where you could say that, but a lack of effort is a criticism that could be labelled at very few in our squad, in my opinion.

He's faster than Casemiro, stronger, stays in position, and a lot safer on the ball than him.

Casemiro a brilliant heading threat though, and he's also used to big games, just not sure how you carry him in a game like this.

Casemiro was lately playing in a position which is not natural to him so we can't blame him for that.
Amrabat is slow and loses the ball a number of times.
This will be the last game for Casemiro and I hope he'll rise to the occasion.

Two colleagues of mine at work, one supports Arsenal the other Pool both told me they will be cheering for Utd this weekend.

Was a bit surprised cos City's wins will always feel plastic to me, but guess they are just sick of them to the extent that they would cheer for us.

They won't all be like that, but surprising to see any element of it at all tbh.
I always support either of them when they face City too. Long overdue we oppose cheating together

Casemiro only started playing there in the last few games, we've had a whole season to conclude that Casemiro is done.

Casemiro loses the ball a lot more than Amrabat, it's not even close - I don't even need to check the stats.
Amrabat is slow, but quicker than Casemiro.

No matter how much the team may be fired up for this game, once City are a couple of goals in front, I can see the heads going down and it all falling apart….again.
Some of the players are playing their last game for Utd, or fear they’re playing their last game and will they be fighting for ETH at that stage, if they think he might be sacked anyway?

I’m dreading total capitulation as City turn up the pressure and we suffer a more humiliating defeat than last year.
Yet we live in desperate hope, such is the current state of our fallen club.

If we don’t win this, it won’t be because of a lack of effort. I suspect all our players are motivated to play their socks off but we just don’t have that level of dependability and calm in midfield, which is where I suspect this game will slip from us, especially if we’re needing a goal or 2 to level it.

Well Saudi Arabia did beat Argentina in a World Cup….so stranger things have happened!

The clubs terrible handling of ten hag situation has really put a cloud over this. Can't remember wanting to win an fa cup final this much since 1999

It’s shocking but the build up to this final has really depressed me and I just want it over now. No one is giving Utd a chance and the ETH speculation from the press is disrespectful and really turning the screw on fans.

Really really want a win but expecting us to concede a couple of early goals and for Man City just to control the game from the start with Utd not getting a sniff of a chance.

Hope I’m wrong and we smash em!

We have a small chance, everyone has to be on top form, no mistakes and clinical with the few chances we have. Last game of this depressing season and possibly EtHs reign. Who knows

Or even worse, play Rashford in attack!
I never thought of that
To be serious though I have loved the cup since I was a little boy, it was taken so seriously by the fa the clubs the players the tv companies and of course us fans.
Now they treat it as a joke with silly stupid comments during the draws, no replays games stretched over the week managers using second string players or worse, such a shame but a cup final day should still be cherished as something special.
i will be avoiding the woke Football Focus today it’s an embarrassment that programme and will be watching the match and build up on ITV to avoid that annoying unfunny Cnut Lineker.
come on Erik show those blue bastards that United on their day can still beat anyone, 3-1 Utd.

Im honestly suprised INEOS and/or the club havent complained about Michael Oliver and Stuart Burt being amongst the officials for this game and demanded they be replaced
Can we make such a demand and what would the chance be of a change?

Yes exactly. Amrabat is not technically good enough and takes too long to move the ball.

The timing of the first goal is going to be absolutely critical.
If City score early, then we would have to chase the game.
If we can score first, at least we will be in with a shout.
