We really were terrible. Our counter attacks were all pathetic failures and to be honest Bournemouth should consider themselves really unlucky to lose tonight. I don't think they're better than us but we just stopped playing football as usual.

This period of 3-4 weeks is all about points accumulation. Our rivals will drop points and we have to make sure we win our games no matter how scrappy it is. I am happy with the result.

Ref actually had a good game, a bit harsh on Lukaku getting a yellow after two fouls, and I don't think that was a handball, but he was good otherwise.

3 A performance Awful, Abysmal and Atrocious. Shaw, McTominay Jones and de gea were good and Mata half decent. Far too many errors and poor passing made Bournemouth look like City.

When do I do that? I'm always on about the three points first and foremost. After a disappointing result against City, we needed a win, any win will do. Never mind how dreadful we played.

Lukaku took his goal well. Mata played well. Shaw should start regularly now (no offence to Young). We just need to grind out another win vs West Brom. Then Pogba is back. Once Pogba is back we will get back to scoring. It's calm. We just look proper poor without Pogba it shouldn't be this bad but that's what it is.

Its the way you build the game. Its all build to work around Pogba, plus Pog is class. He has good technique, vision and a great pass. Unfortunately due to his young age not so much brains.

We needed a win, any win after getting educated at the weekend, but it's a sad state of affairs when our three best players against mighty Bournemouth at home were David De Gea, Phil Jones and Luke Shaw, with Scott McTominay who grew into the game probably our 4th best performer.
