I understand your frustration with Manchester United's recent form, but it's important to maintain a positive attitude and continue supporting the team through their struggles. The team is capable of bouncing back and achieving success.
    Liverpool 7-0
    Southampton 0-0
Fulham 3-1 (after multiple red cards but losing badly before that)
    Newcastle 2-0

We could have got hammered in all these games. Managers get sacked from big clubs with form like that.

Managers get sacked for 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats?

I understand your concern regarding Manchester United's recent performances. While the results may not have been ideal, it's important to keep in mind that every team goes through phases of good and bad form. Additionally, football is a team sport, and it's not always down to the manager's performance alone.

    Yeah, lucky us...

Result was 2:0. Yes it could have been worse but it wasnt. Hammering happened in Liverpool game. Also you counted a draw and a win, yes Fulham got a players sent of but we won.

So you're saying ETH should get the sack basically?

None of the available midfielder can hold a defensive position...so expect another chaotic match!

Thankfully it is at Old Trafford so it should be a fun open game.

No, I'm not saying he should be sacked but you can't be on the wrong side of multiple hammerings and keep your job so I fear for him if it continues this way.

They get sacked only by idiotic owners who don't look at context and bigger picture.

This will be much easier game than all you doom sayers think it will be.

We've been very poor for a long period of time now, EtH has to sort it out. Looking at results is not enough to capture that trend, xG is a bit better.

Brentford will be up for it knowing it's a good time to come to OT when we're at our worst form since .. we played them last time

Home form is largely great, but I am not confident in the ability to deal with the teams that play with a higher intensity as we have seen recently (Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle). Brentford and Everton are in that category, with a direct approach in terms of the attack, but at OT we should be able to get over the line. Win both and we should be going into the away game against Forest with Casemiro and a few others back up to fitness. Big month but I think we will do it!

Generally confident in our ability to bounce back from defeat under EtH, but fatigue is definitely starting to become a concern. But as touched upon, once Casemiro is back and then Eriksen, Martial, Wan-Bissaka are fit we will be OK. This week is just about getting the Ws by any means necessary.

I really think five more wins will guarantee top 4. Huge opportunity to get 3-4 of them this month.

Going to this one and the Everton game!

We just won a trophy and then went on a little rut. Nobody gets sacked after winning a trophy when they are still on track to achieve their targets. Don't be dramatic. We are still in every cup. Southampton we had an early red card and it was a 50/50 game. Fuham we didn't play well but the xG in that game was 3.36 for us and 0.87 for them.

We are in the semi finals of the fa cup. In the quarter finals of the Europa League. Are on track to finish 3rd in the league. Beat Newcastle in the league Cup final. Have deservedly beaten City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona this season. Trying to claim it's anything but a good season is dumb.

Not confident even with our home form. We're shockingly low on energy and confidence.

We will get 6/6 and I believe Newcastle has 3 away games on the trot so it would be very surprising if we aren’t 3rd again soon.

Any kind of win will do. Brentford are a well coached team, and dangerous on set pieces. Can see us conceding at least one.

Hope they smash us 3-1 again.

Will be a huge blessing if we can field Martial and all 11 players in their best position.

We're disagreeing about the definition of a word hammering it seems there's no point in continuing this.

We didn't get hammered by fecking Fulham ffs  some proper wetties atm.
I don't get it with this place, it is ALWAYS in extremes, either we are amazing and title contenders, and next week everyone is dominating us, our good results were because of luck and we are shit otherwise, ETH out etc.

That is Caf in a nutshell.

    "Getting hammered by Fulham" :houllier:

Hope eriksens back for this one. If we perform like we did against Newcastle then we’re getting battered here.

    Move Martinez into DM.
This. Before we signed him this was one of the things I kept hearing about but we’re yet to see it! Our midfield is awful without Casemiro and we get played through so easy. Move martinez into DM. Play Varane and lindelof or even put Shaw back into CB and play Malacia to keep things fresh.

No McTominay and no Weghorst please.

We need the 3 points otherwise this awful patch will become of serious concern with top 4 being seriously jeopardized.

We're really struggling. Last 3 league games have been absolutely awful. No goals and 9 conceded. Cup games better results but not better performances.

I was very realistic and would be delighted with top 4 and a cup or 2 this year, but really didnt think we'd slip to such a poor standard again so it puts a very different slant on things when the trajectory no longer feels upward.

A convincing win here would be great but I can't see it. Scrappy 2-1.

Tottenham has some tough fixtures remaining as well (@Newcastle, @Liverpool @Aston Villa, Brighton) so they could be the team that falls out of top 4, may just need to outpace pool.

Not expecting too many changes for this, just hoping the players bounce back and get a big home win.

This. He can pass and can put some bite in midfield. Play Shaw CB and Malacia LB.
Shaw deserves to be dropped for his idiocy against Newcastle but I don't think Lindelof put a foot wrong being the only CB so I would like Martinez as the 6 with Varane & Lindelof behind.

Play Fred and Bruno ahead of him.

I'll take a jammy win at the moment. We just need 3 points to wake us up again. Worst team to play right now are the unique curiosity that is Brentford football club. But hey, might as well be the spark.

We arnt winning this in my opinion and are will do well to come away with a draw, Ivan Toney is bang on form and could easilly have a field day up against a goalkeeper like De Gea who is a liability at times.

I fecking can't bear that T Frank's guy, so we need a win his demonic grin will be unbearable. A must win has to be and Everton as well. Casimero hopefully back and who knows by the middle or end of the month Eriksen as well..

I'd go with a front 3 of Antony Martial Rashford.. midfield 3 Sabitzer Fred Bruno.. I'd drop Dalot AWB if fit ... Varane Martinez.. ..
