It's surely going to be a game of extremely high quality between two in-form teams.

Predictions here are grim. Usually we're always tipped to win even when we're not favourites.

Went for an exciting, end to end 0-0 myself. Surely has been decades since United and Chelsea were this bad and played each other?

Okay, sure, we lost at Stoke. But surely, this is where we come out fighting with the performance of the season. We will win, I just know it. We will win 3-0.

Win if LVG is sacked. With him in charge, we'll beat the shit out of them, which means 0 - 0.

Two shit teams facing each other.

0-0 was my default predictiopn since November. Now I've changed it to 0-2.
The scousers could be above us in a couple of days.

The old man is a Chelsea fan so this game is usually a house divider. I think we're both so disillusioned with football this season that the game could pass without either of us noticing.

I think sky should just drop the commentary and play the benny hill theme for 90 minutes.

Battle for the Europa League places as it stands!

I'd like to see us try this, I mean nothing else has really worked of late.

Every single line-up posted shows just how average this squad is.

Take out De Gea and Schweinsteiger (just for 'prestige' reasons, not quality) and this could easily be Tottenham's team. In fact, Redknapp's Tottenham team looked better on paper, which translated to better football.

If someone told you, three years ago, that this was Tottenham's future line-up, you wouldn't be shocked (quality wise), and you'd probably say they'd regressed. You definitely wouldn't say these players were too good for Tottenham.

No one can seriously look at that team and expect them to be one of the very best in England. Yet some people think this is a really good squad of players. It baffles me.
    Such a lack of quality.

    Edit: fair enough, Shaw's missing.

    De Gea
    Young-Smalling-Jones-Blind
    Schneiderlin
    Pereira-Schweinsteiger
    Herrera-Martial-Rooney

subs: Romero, Varela, CBJ, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata, Memphis

Might aswell try something different and give Pereira a game. We would also have Mata & Memphis to come off the bench if the front free isn't working.
    Or Pereira switching with Herrera.

It really is lose lose. If we win then it doesn't change the fact he has to go but the board will give him more time and we will just drop more points against shit teams in the New Year. Utterly clueless.

Since Ferguson retired (so since Gill left too) we have been clueless upstairs aswell. Ed Woodward doesn't have a fecking clue unless it's securing a sponsorship partner.

I'm seriously in two minds whether to go tomorrow or just watch it from home, if LVG is still in charge. It's not the losing that bothers me it's the performances and the lack of passion for the club, the badge which is shown by the players and in particular the manager. How can you expect the fans to support you if you show absolutely no emotion for the club!

I'm fairly surprised that LVG is still in charge. Perhaps he's convinced Woody that it's down to Rooney and Schweiny being out. Can't think of another excuse that would fly.

Desperate need of a win here. feck the reason "Gutted if we win because Van Gaal will stay another day". That's utter tripe. I too have lost faith in LVG, but that shouldn't make you want the team to lose just so the manager can walk.

    A result here is crucial.

Unfortunately, we won't get it :( Chelsea had a lot more flair under Hiddink yesterday. Reckon they'll want to go for our throats. A win for them will give him a huge boost.

1-2 loss. Chelsea will put in a shift. Hazard and Fabregas will have great games. We'll be shit after an initial decent opening 15 mins or so before reverting to clueless sideways passing mugs.

If United had sense they would have got rid of LVG in time for the Stoke and Chelslea games and even used Giggs as an interim manager. Look at the boost chelsea have gotten from it. If LVG is still there I think it could be a comfortable Chelsea win because funnily enough they are starting to play football again now that Mouinho is gone. Who would have thouht just a month ago Chelsea would be slight favourites for this match

Hopefully we can sneak a 0-0 draw. I cant see us scoring if LVG is still in charge.

Chelsea will win and LVG will be gone one way or another, atmosphere in the ground will be interesting once we inevitably go behind.

It's laughable club are dragging their feet, everyone knows what is coming and we are just throwing away points.

got my first ever correct score prediction against Stoke

I think we wont win this either, and the points we've lost in this last month we'll come back to bite us badly in the overall scheme of things.

Still have away games against City, Spurs, Pool in the second half of the season.

    Sigh.
