If everyone else had been cack and he'd scored the only goal then ok, but no.

You look at the game and all four seemed to have good games individually.

But as a defensive unit things went wrong on a few occasions in the first half

thanks, actualy just watched the 1st half as I ended up on that site. the sound & video are a bit off balance though.

oh and I just gotta say, what a half from Memphis, I've been sayin' the dude's a beast. He's gonna be our next best player, I dare say it.

I bloody loved the ref.. No bullshit, just iron will and determination.. loved it

Fellaini scored a BIG goal, now we can go to Belgium and try a little rotation with the squad.. We were dominating the 2nd and it would had been a damn shame if we'd not scored a third. Memphis showed his class, Wayne's getting sharper by the minute and Smalling absolutely destroys.. Bring on Newcastle!

It's weird that individually our defenders varied between good and very good but the unit as a whole left a fair bit to be desired with the space Brugge found themselves in on several occasions.

So relieved we got the third. Brugge didn't really create a lot, and we missed at least two glorious chances if not more, so I'm not too worried about the second leg. But a one goal advantage would have been shaky, especially if they get 1-0 in front in Belgium.

Memphis could have had 4, but I think he's pretty much shown that he's the real deal (Bellion poster take note). What he did for the first goal surely only he can do in our team. Mad to think someone else earns more than twice what he does.

Smalling is a beast.

Highly unlikely. He got taken off against Brugge which probably suggests he's getting the full 90 against Newcastle.

That was about 7 minutes of rest. If Fellaini wasn't still serving his suspension against Newcastle, I think he'd play (forgot about that one). You're probably right.

Well we pushed up, we played more attacking. Was great to see to be fair.
