You miss the part where they get the ball, counter attack, and we start p'n ourselves. All in all though your summary is totally right. We look terrible. Shades of the home game we lost last season against Newcastle.
All true and now I'm reminded of that Newcaste game and will be shitting it, thanks :( :nervous:

I dont think ADM or Januzaj are bad as wingers but how it looks as team we dont know how to play 4-3-3,our wingers playing almost in same way like they do in 4-4-2.

I kind of agree with this, but we'll also need to go diamond I think; Angel Di Maria has gone to absolute Ashley-young-level shite on the wing.
Angel Marked out of it again. It doesn't help that the movement is so slow up top, there is very little to aim for, and his deliveries are more often than not dangerous. Go diamond with di Maria in the whole. Bolasie is a danger though if given enough space to run at Valencia.

We haven't been nearly as made as made out in here. Apart from our inability to deal with long balls forward from Palace. We havent been great but not THAT bad...

Disagree tbh Carrick has been playing the ball forward mostly into RVPs feet, the game slows down when the forward players get the ball as instead of taking on their man, they play the ball back.
Constantly breaking down the play for safe backpasses is annoying me too, but Carrick is sitting deep and offering no bursts of intent. His movement forward is very poor, it seems to me he's been told to protect our central defence and play it safe. Having seen what Herrera can do in the same position makes Carrick look slow and passive to me.

Our attacking "Trio" has absolutely shit all movement except Van Persie in fairness who's showing good movement but is starved of service.

So many times either Di Maria/Shaw wrestle the ball on the wing and Van persie is the lone striker in the box with both Fellaini and Rooney standing 30 yards away from goal.

Can see Palace getting a goal here if they keep punting up the ball since I expect a mistake every half from our CB's these days.

Carrick is Class though.Missed him so much

Proof stats mean feck all. Only shaw's run is worthy of a highlights reel.
Or it means we are controlling the game just not creating clear cut chances which is the next step.

People on here were comparing us to QPR for goodness sake.

You go back to watching your highlight reels on youtube.

I wonder how many combinations of our players have been fielded? It's unreal how frequently we get injuries. The team cannot develop any consistency whatsoever. Not sure whether it is the training method / intensity or something at our medical department, but we get injured far too often compared to other top teams, and this has been the case for quite some time now.

I don't whether it is stubbornness or he sees something we don't, but the previous formation with Di Maria, Herrera,Blind in midfield was working a lot better for us.
And ADM's corners weren't this bad at the start either, I thought

If you cant break a team like Crystal Palace, then you can forget about the CL spot by the end of the season. Adnan is not a right winger, Wayne is not a midfielder and Fellaini is not a Herrera. Di Maria is wasted on the wing, and we still suck at our movement in the final third. Van Gaal will definitely have to answer some tough questions by Woodward, if we do not improve by Christmas. I can't see us getting anything from our next game, and if I was Wenger I'd rather go for it from the first minute. Looking forward to see us kinda arsed in the second half.

This, ADM is the angel here, they both have been terrible and they have added nothing since West Brom.
People forgot so soon that Adnan was our savior last season, and of course our youth product as well.

We really need a good team goal to uplift the squad. They look low on confidence or something. We aren't the same United that played earlier in the year. We may be conceding less goals but we are scoring far fewer as well.

We're not all that bad. Most of them annoy the good ones amongst us as well
I agree with you. Problem is we don't really know which newbie comments caught the eye of the guy that criticised the newbies in the first place.

On with Herrera, off with Adnan and back to the diamond.

    .........Carrick
    ..Fellaini...Di Maria
    .........Herrera
Or try it with Januzaj instead of Herrera. I can only repeat myself. adnan isn't a winger.

Take off fellani and put hererra back on ffs
This ffs. Fellaini is not what we need consistently, only for certain kinds of games. Also get Adnan off. Why are we sacrificing all that earlier dynamism we had going forward in earlier games? Also trying to accommodate Rooney and RVP all the time. Just choose one ffs and stick with it!

I keep beating on this drum but Rooney offers nothing as a a midfielder. First touch and passing simply aren't good enough. Striker or bust.

I for one am beginning to question his tactical nous.

Is he really a tactical genius or is he the manager of man utd?

Janujaz should be a number 10 and nothing else. He just keeps putting him on the wing and Janujaz keeps flopping.

Di Maria is ineffective on the wing. At least put him back centrally so we can see whether it is position or form

Di Maria is still, STILL, taking corners.

Is van Gaal an idiot? Or is he just too stubborn to change things
ADM has been terrible at corners for the last few games but one area of his game which I thought was solid today.

Easily our worst half of the season. Carrick trying to thread passes through, which he still does well to an extent, but we have no acceleration through the middle third and keep insisting on swinging it out wide instead of taking on a defence for one of the PL's worst sides.

I hope all of you who wanted to see the backs of Hernandez and Welbeck are happy now. For how poor Hernandez was, his energy could really be used now and Welbeck had the athleticism to open up defences, which RVP, who IMO is finished as an everyday player, can't do regularly anymore. We are left with Falcao, who is injured, and Wilson, who is unproven.

Rooney was also poor, no impact at all. Januzaj can't beat a man.

C'mon Rooney be a no.10 in the second half, Carrick doesn't need you babysitting him!

Exactly and to be honest, I see some full member posts on here that are of the same annoying level.
