    I'll have whatever you're on please - Weggy wouldn't get a hat trick in a Milinner's shop

I'll be surprised if Maguire doesn't start and Martial will break himself getting out of bed on Sunday, Pellestri might start again as well[/QUOTE]

    I'm with you on that.

It's international week, so why wouldn't Varane start after not featuring last night, and then having a week off?

De Gea, AWB, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, McTominay, Sabitizer, Bruno, Antony, Weghorst, Rashford if all fit.
Fred, Sancho, Martial, Pellestri all on the bench.

    Magical Manchester United.
Team will probably be something like this: De Gea; Wan-Bisska, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Sabitzer, Fred; Pellistri*, Bruno, Rashford; Weghorst.
Pellistri only starts if Antony isn't available. There is no way ETH won't go full-strength before the international break. A bit anxious about our midfield, but even though Fulham are enjoying a good season, we should have too much for them at home.

It'll be a full strength team minus Casemiro.

We've very good chance of winning this or at least reaching the final. Fulham are a very tricky team also but the home draw should help.

I'm starting to get tired of Weghorst.
Me too! I'm sick of EtH playing Wout when we have some many world class strikers on the bench like erm....and err...yeahhh! i hate Weghorst for always being fit.

”So we have to talk about [it] and I think Anthony Martial will not be available and Antony dos Santos, we have to see how he will progress.”

I wasn't putting this towards the boss. Your sarcasm is not so cool or funny. I was just saying I'm tired of him, I'd like to have a better striker available, because in the last games he brought absolutely nothing to our game.

Varane back in with Licha, Shaw and AWB . 2 CM Fred Mctom . Bruno, Rashford WW, could be Sancho could be Antony if Fit . Pellistri would be a shout as well Martial fit even to get 30 mins would be a plus. This is going to be a tough game, Fulham having a good season.

ETH already confirmed Martial won’t be available. Antony is a maybe.

Couldn't care less top four is the priority, these competitions have negatively influenced the league form. Shaw already stated that the team lost focus after winning the cup, there's not enough depth to contend. Top four is essential for the preparations of the following season and earmarking the manager and teams progress.

ETH confirms McT out too. So that leaves us with Sabitzer and Fred starting with Bruno.
Did Palinha injured as he wasn’t on the bench in their last tie. If he plays, our midfield will get over run.

What's up with him now ? Seems he is injured every time we actually need him. Paulinha was suspended for the last game so he will be available by all accounts.

McTominay injured, as if ETH needed any more reason to give Licha a go in midfield.

You're the sort that if Martinez was unavailable you'd play Varane and Maguire and then get stomped.

If I suggested playing Shaw there instead and Malacia at LB, you'd have said the exact same.
It'd hardly be insane to play Varane and Maguire together would it? At home to Fulham?!

He didn't say he was out. Just that he was a doubt and why he didn't come on in midweek.

Pellstri deserves another start after the 2nd leg performance, Sancho on the other hand should get his head sort, he tried to do it all himself on two occasions, one open goal to Elanga (despite it is offside), another one is shot with his left foot instead a simple pass to bruno around the penalty spot.

His performance is worrying if there is no improvement I am happy to sell him in summer, our GD is 30 plus behind Arsenal and City, we desperate need better attackers.

    Shaw in centre midfield?! :houllier:
Yes, much like when I told the forum in 2014 that he would be very good at centre back, he profiles as someone who would be good cover in central midfield also. Good technique, good ball player under pressure and has a good sense of tactical/positional awareness.

I don't have a good feeling about tomorrow - hope I'm wrong mind.
have the same feeling, our goal mostly from Rashford, and now Garnacho is injured and Antony doubtful, I can see anyone can score except Bruno?

Also we don't have many set pieces goal, biggest threat actually is Cas header but now he is suspensed too.

Should be as strong a side as possible.

I’d seriously consider Martinez or Shaw at CDM. Fred/Sabitzer as partnership wasn’t great against Leeds.

    De Gea
    AWB - Varane - Shaw - Malacia
    Sabitzer - Martinez
    Bruno - Fred - Rashhford
    Wout

Yeah not feeling too confident. It's incredibly hard to continue to compete on so many fronts so deep into the season, there is normally some point where you just have a bad day/bad luck that derails the run. Portsmouth in 2008 being the classic example, and also the following season when we went out on penalties to Everton in the semis. It happens, it won't be the end of the world and we should be prepared for it.
