Fulham Football Club (also known as The Cottagers or The Whites), is a professional association football club based in Fulham, West London, England. Fulham were formed in 1879 as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School F.C., founded by worshipers (mostly adept at cricket) at the Church of England on Star Road, West Kensington (St Andrew's, Fulham Fields). Fulham's mother church still stands today with a plaque commemorating the team's foundation. They won the West London Amateur Cup in 1887 and, having shortened the name from Fulham Excelsior to its present form in 1888, they then won the West London League in 1893 at the first attempt.

Fulham started playing at their current ground at Craven Cottage in 1896, their first game against now defunct rivals Minerva. Fulham are one of the oldest established clubs in southern England currently playing professional football, though there are many non-league sides like Kent side Cray Wanderers who are several decades older. The club gained professional status on 12 December 1898, the same year that they were admitted into the Southern League's Second Division. They were the second club from London to turn professional, following Arsenal, then named Royal Arsenal 1891.

After suffering relegation to The Championship in 2013, Fulham have been on a road to recovery and were promoted to the Premier League on 26 May 2018, by winning 1–0 in the 2018 EFL Championship play-off Final against Aston Villa. Fulham fans consider their main rivals to be Chelsea, followed by Queens Park Rangers. They also have rivalries with other London clubs, including Brentford and Crystal Palace.

100% Rest Bruno, Casemiro, Varane, Shaw, Rashford, AWB.

De Gea, Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Malacia, Fred, McTominay, Eriksen, Sancho, Martial, Garnacho.

    2-1

Clean sheet would be great - to keep it to single figures conceded at home all season would be pretty remarkable (especially considering the away record).

    Elanga--Weghorst--Pellistri
    -----------------Mainoo
    -----------McTominay-Fred
    Malacia-Mengi-Maguire-Dalot
    ------------------Butland

Subs: Vitek, Williams, Iqbal, Emeran, Jurado, Hugill, Kambwala, Furson, Hansen-Aaroen

We've got a week to rest before the final after this. Play a decent team and keep the momentum up, and it would be nice to finish 3rd.

At least give Maguire, McTominay, Elanga, Weghorst and Pellistri 90 minutes.

Fulham have nothing to play for, so I don’t expect the normal level of Premier League aggression. Also a week between this game and the final.

That being the case, I’d be tempted to start with our first 11 for the final. Give them 45 minutes or so to see how it gels and try a few things, then ring the changes.

Health more important than "momentum". Especially having just played we can count this our "momentum" game. Already lost Antony and Shaw had to be taken off due to precaution hopefully. Imagine case or rash go down. Neither should see lineup. Rest any important player

Give Phil Jones his send-off in this

    Good idea.

Players who must not play : de gea, rashford, Shaw, Bruno, martial, casemiro, varane , lindelof, awb

    I'd go with

    Butland

    Dalot Maguire Jones Malacia

    Mcfred Mainoo

    Pellestri Wout Garnacho

Sounds like EtH wants to finish third, he wants to keep up this good home record. It probably isn't going to be an entirely different XI, but we know there's already two confirmed changes and I'm convinced Varane won't play.

    de Gea
    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Malacia
    Casemiro Fred
    Sancho Bruno Garnacho
    Rashford

I would rather we left out Casemiro as well to start McTominay, but I think EtH might start him... Definitely must sub off Bruno & Rashford.

Probably finish the game like this and hope we still get the result to finish third:

    de Gea
    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Malacia
    McTominay Fred
    Pellistri Weghorst Elanga
    Martial

Put Rashford, Case,Varane,Shaw AWB,Bruno,Eriksen on Ice,

FA Cup +League cup +4th place is better than League Cup + 3rd place finish.

    ...................... ... DDG
    Dalot.......Lindelof....Maguire.....Malacia
    ...... .............Fred.......McT.
    Pellestri...............Mainoo............Garnacho

Maguire, Dalot, McTominay, Elanga, Weghorst all to play for what will hopefully be their final run in a United shirt.

Garnacho and Pellistri at some point.

All that matters is nobody important gets injured.

Jones hasn't trained since July, are you trying to kill him off once and for all?

Need to rest the likes of Bruno, Casemiro, Varane, Shaw, etc, and limit Eriksen, Rashford to 45-60 mins (also Martial, but that seems to be as long as he can play anyway).

Garnacho could do with 90 mins to get some rhythm, as he could be an important sub for the final.

Depends on the approach and really how important third place is when we have a cup final the next week but i can't think the likes of Shaw or Rashford will be risked. Wouldn't want to play Varane either.

Maguire, Wout, McTominay to all start their final league games for United?

There’s no qualifiers for finishing 4th any more so I see no reason at all to risk any key players

    Not registered.

Not that it matters either way, his knees literally can't take it anymore.

    Butland
    Dalot Maguire Lindelof Malacia
    Fred Mctominay Mainoo
    Pellistri Weghorst Garnacho

Not bothered about 3rd place just rest everyone for the final, we can't be risking anymore injuries

EtH doesn't seem like a manager who will play the kids or even second string here. Just have to keep everything crossed that nobody gets injured.

Rest Case, Varane and Shaw. Don't want them getting sent off or injured for the final.

    De Gea
    Dalot Maguire Lindelöf Malacia
    Eriksen Fred
    Sancho Bruno Garnacho
    Martial

If pay sone more of the under 23 IQbal, instead of Fred and Joe Hugil instead of Weghorst

    I'm expecting a strong line-up.

DDG, Dalot, Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia, Mctomminay, Fred, Bruno, Rashford, Martial, Sancho.

Is ETH gonna go all out for this or rest our key players? What do you guys reckon?
