Armas, okay not worried about new manager bounce as much now.

Anyways would like to see Dalot back for us. No clue if Martial is fit, so I guess it's Wout again. And Sabitzer in for Case.

This game is going to look a bit different as we won't have as much control as we would with Casemiro if I had to guess. Will be dynamic and running with them though

Feck's sake if I had a penny for every time we've been fecked by new manager bounce... nervous for this now.

Edit: just seen it's Chris Armas taking the reins. They might as well have kept Marsch.

Yeah feel exactly the same and despite their dreadful form taking six points still feels huge especially now without Casa

Leeds aren’t going to bring in someone like Emery or Loptegui, who are good managers to make the most of that new manager bounce.

They‘re probably going to park a bus for this first one, try hit us on counters with our high line and go for set pieces. We‘ve had one more day of rest than they have too and we’ve got the squad and fitness to handle more than one game a week.

People are a little pessimistic with this. It could happen for sure but they need to hit the jackpot of luck for it to happen. They need to play a fecking blinder and we need to be total shit at OT for the first time since August. There’s a reason why they’re 17th.

tbf to us we ended both of those "bounces". Emery won his 1st against us, then got smacked 4-2 by us a few days later. Loptegui won 2 and then lost to us.

This is crazy, I bet stats would show we are the top club in the prem for facing opposition with a manager taking over his first game. Is this the 3rd or 4th time this season alone?

    Is Casemiro's red overturned yet?
I don't think there's anything that says we're even appealing it. Deadline must be pretty imminent, considering the game is on Wednesday.

FFS new manager bounce when we are playing without Casemiro and Eriksen
They'll need 1 fecking high bounce to beat us at Old Trafford.

Elland Road might be different, but I don't fear them at all.

We really shouldn't be worried with airpods taking charge.
 Only issue we might have there is complacency, weren't half our squad actively taking the piss out of that fella last season?

Ted Lasso bounce? Easy 3 points. Best time to rest Casemiro before the cup final. That red was a blessing in disguise.

    Hahaha.
You'll be surprised though. They might play out of their skin, while we might play with lethargy.
I doubt they'll beat us, but we have been beaten by bottom of the league sides plenty of times in the last few years.

I'm proper buzzing for this. Looking forward to every game again. Shame Casa is out, but we have enough!

I would love nothing more than to smash them back to back. They aren't as dangerous as they were when Bielsa was in charge when we used to score 4+ . But it was his gung-ho tactics that let us score that much.

They are a side desperate for a win, we really can't be complacent, and chopping and changing the starting 11 will be a problem, rather have minimal changes and get the goals and then rotate soon as.

Not necessarily as Leeds tend to raise their game against us at Elland Road and Leicester have found some form. This game should be easy but the other two will be tricky.

Not sure about the premier league but it used to happen in the old first division, especially at Christmas & Easter.
Wasn't uncommon to play a local rival at home then at their place 1-2 days later in the XMAS period

A famous example being 1963-64 when United lost 1-6 at Burnley on Boxing Day, before beating them 5-1 at Old Trafford two days later. Wasn't always local, in 1960-61 we beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Christmas Eve before trouncing them 6-0 at home on Boxing Day.

    Lads, it‘s Leeds.
We said that about Palace a few weeks ago, if Leeds are going to turn up against anyone it's us, we should win at OT but their place will be a different kettle of fish

Yeah don't want that crowd getting involved on Sunday or will get very tricky indeed

I wonder if that is a misquote. It would have been very rude of Fergie to have said that to someone he just met.
He could have said it in a joking way. It’s true though… fergie knows what it takes.

Ye it will be a tough game but we tend to score goals past them as they always play very open. If they play open then I can see it being a very entertaining end to end game.

It was a misquote. Fergie met him in Tesco and started pointing at him while laughing, saying "Ted Lasso! Ted Lasso!".

What?? There are no other games of note on at all!
Rescheduled fixture that wasn't originally for broadcast. A joke, again. Laughable how this happens all the time, whereas people overseas are able to watch.

What's the point of sticking it where it is if they're not able to get TV rights covered though? I get they need to have these games played, but it's coming at literally the worst possible time for us - as did the Palace away fixture. Could they not have waited for us to play Barca and see if more options opened up? It's not like massively we're behind on games played currently relative to others.

Why would a Leeds v United game not be broadcast?

The whole system is a joke
