After LVG saying "4th is most important and if we come 3rd we have met our aim", i feel awful. We are not arsenal for fecks sake. Come on leicester, lets get this loser get fired. We are man utd, we always aim for the top. Winning the 4th place trophy is arsenals job. We need a better manager.

Sadly today he's lucked out (as per usual) on Vardy being injured, think that will prove the difference.

Getting beat today will not bring LVG any nearer the sack, not with the FA Cup Final to play.
I agree we need another manager but I dont think we will see it till 17/18 season :(

Don't think the FA Cup is enough to save a manager nowadays. Which top side did we even have to beat to win it?

It will. Top 4 is most important in his own words. If he fails to get that, he is gone. We need to lose today and city to win to make him close to the sack . West ham away will be the final nail in the coffin.

This has draw written all over it, LVG will be too scared of Leicester's counter attacks to really go for it. As with everything under him our top 4 challenge will end with a whimper.

I predict he would say winning the FA Cup is actually most important if we miss out top 4 because he needs to bring the 'champions' mentality to the team.

If Leicester win the league today, you would barely get a mention, let alone laughed at.
Leicester winning the league at OT - right, Liverpool fans wouldn't ever mention that would they?

Leicester can get stuffed. If they want to win the league they can do it somewhere else, some other time.

So you actually want us to lose today?

Yes for the greater good of our club and rid our club of this top 4 is success mentality. A painful medicine to cure a long term disease.
And what evidence do you have that losing today will make any difference whatsoever to the managerial situation?

We still have a realistic chance of making 4th. I presume you don't want us to achieve that.

You can't call yourself a Manchester United supporter.

You want a regime where the club suffers more by achieving top 4. It suffers poor management and the club suffers having less tickets sold. The fans dont come (do you know the number of tickets being sold over to leicester fans?) Do you not see the empty seats? Do you not doze off by the football you are watching? Every football club aims at success and if a club with our resources and our value and our fan base accepts mediocrity then the ethos of the club are challenged. The winning mentality that fergie drilled in the DNA of the club is eroded. Being humiliated by lesser teams in champions league. Who will want to play here? DO you want us to become liverpool? where we try to be the best fans in the world and remember our good old days? The number of threads that say on this day 8 years ago or 5 years ago? what about today? what about now? What about the future? where are we heading? A midtable club who is used to being rich? These riches are here til we are succesful, they will fall and so will the club finances. Success on the pitch runs this club. If its not there, the foundations of the club will shake. Lets hope LVG gets 4th, then next year when all the big boys are back and tottenham and pool improve where do we sit? On comes the tactical genius of giggs, who has been part of two failed regimes at the club? Whats the future with a top 4 this year? Humiliation in the champions league?
Believe it or not being sentimental will be stupid right now. The club needs new management and if the only way to ensure that is not getting top 4, then i am for it. Is it so difficult to understand? I dont enjoy united losing, i hate it, i am in an awful mood after IT, BUT i know, its for the better of united.

so you are saying top 4 and a place in the Europa League (maybe) is more important that winning the FA Cup ! Silverware and a guaranteed Europa League place.

FFS I would stop posting now, along with that massive ramble you posted you not covering yourself in glory.

For saving LVG's job. he has to get TOP4 that is what i meant. For me his sacking is most important. May it be after we get to top 4 or after we win f.a. cup. As we have seen with moyes, when top 4 was not chieved, he was sacked. So taking that point i think for the long term future of the club, not getting top 4 this year will be better if it means LVG gets sacked.

Not sure we will get Top 4 anyway, as the nearer we get to the cup final it is human nature that the players will not risk getting injured. Still want to win the cup though, a trophy is a trophy. Arsenal will carry on getting jammy wins, it would be just like them to seriously turn up against City. If anyone is going to take their eye off the ball it will be City. Todays game against Southampton will show if we still have a chance. If City win that, then we have no chance.

Probably not seeing as it's highly embarrassing for them that Leicester have won the Premier League before they have.

And killed all their excuses about money dead in one fell swoop to boot.

Off to the match to hopefully see us win and not see another club win the title at OT, to think that people want to see us lose today is pathetic! I want LvG gone but not at a loss today and seeing Leicester winning the title this afternoon.

    Just a little rant.

No genuine United fan would want their team to loose whatever the 'Motive' or 'Greater Good'.
Come kick off against Leicester City today, I will be 100% behind the lads.

When the match finishes and hopefully we have won (I predicted a 2-1 win btw), I will start dreaming of a post LVG era; hopefully with Mourinho.

I'm pretty sure it's just one poster, lads. We've probably had enough 'no real United fan wants to lose, what's this club coming to' hair pulling now.

Herrera showed once again against West Ham what he adds that no-one else does, that ability to play well even when it's scrappy. No-one else in our squad would have kept trying to slide that through-ball in even after being dumped on his arse. I know Van Gaal refuses to start him, but in theory I'd like:

    DDG
    TFM Smalling Blind Darmian
    Schneiderlin
    Herrera Rooney
    Lingard Rashford Martial

I will play Fellaini today. I'm a bit worry with Huth and Morgan might hurt us from set piece. He also might be effective in this game to stop Kante if he can play like the Everton game.

I am confident we can get the win today. Leicester is in pressure to win it though they are in a high spirit to win it. But we are also in a high spirit as we went to final FA cup. We can't let Leicester win the PL at Old Trafford. It will hurt our pride. And also they are minus Vardy.

    Come on United!!

Leicester to win 3-0 (Huth hat trick) just so we can laugh at Spurs for the entire game tomorrow, regardless of that result.
    No, United to win Today.

Your team can beat Spurs tomorrow and then you can laugh at them all you want.
