No DDG No Bissaka & may be no Shaw in our defense.

No Pogba in our midfield & Martial can only play for 30 min at max.

Overall we are missing 3 out of 5 men of our back 5, we don't have our best midfielder & also our most creative player & our best forward is unfit. We can only hope for miracle to even win this or draw.

The only positive about this upcoming game is that we are playing in Old Trafford. I would say, only miracle can help us or if somehow Rashford & James pull a world class performance.

One of only a handful of games where the Scousers would most likely drop points, and now they have been given 3 points on a plate with our crap form and all the injuries. Jammy feckers! If they don't win the title from all this luck, they never will.

If you think I'm going to let Sky's hyping up of this game make me think we're in with a chance then you're absolutely fecking right! Bring it on. 11 v 11. Anything can happen.

With all our injuries, at least Klopp will have an excuse now of he doesn't win.

It will be a close game until Liverpool score.

The defense is not as bad as it could be but that front 3 and MF starting against Liverpool says it all about our current state.

He's such a hypocrite. Last night in his speech he was talking about how harassment, war etc. has no place in society yet now he'll be attending a massacre.

    Losing to Comeback Winning!
    Assuming the injuries are confirmed.
    Counter-Attack!
    Romero
    Tuanzebe Lindelof Maguire Rojo Young
    Greenwood Pereira McTominay James

    Rashford

    Subs: Martial, Chong, Gomes, Dalot

    Not much choice,
Honestly I can't see the value of these players for this game: Mata, Matic, Fred (too risky), Lingard.

Axel vs Mane (should be fun)
    Young + Rojo vs Salah
    Maguire + Rojo vs Firmino
    James + Young vs TAA

Block their dangerous wing supplies, and let their midfield hog possession to bring the ball upwards into our congested center = more spaces and less cover at the back to exploit. Rashford's fitness concern so he should just focus on attacking spaces, with Greenwood and James to support.

Flat deep defensive lines and hit 'em hard.

Will finally get to see some goals in a United game.

it’ll be in our net but... we’ll be blessed with watching good build up play and goals at least.

Just being realistic. Hope we win though. If we win, it might be just the boost of confidence we need so we can go on a nice run. If we get battered, we may just fight the relegation battle all season

They are very generous, in fact, to describe our style as possession football that is aggressive.
I disagree. We possess the ball way too long when we need to pass it or shoot it. And of course our passes are short, they get cut off by the opposition. And if we didn't have Dan James, we wouldn't be attacking on the left, either.

I agree; what I meant was that real possession football is not keeping the ball for its own sake, but to control the game while having an overall attacking approach at the same time - as perfected by Barca.

Yeah, I know. I just couldn't help but poke fun at our travails. I would agree with the assessment that we (try to) control the game in the opposition's half, but unfortunately it's the back half of their half.

Strongest lineup I can think of if Martial can start. If AWB is fit I'd start him ahead of Lindelof and play Tuanzebe at CB.
