Never in my life have I looked forward to going to OT as little as I am on Sunday . Would have been tough enough without the injuries

We really have some bizarre injuries of late. AWB, Shaw, Martial, even Pogba. What is happening?
Does seem odd that we get so many injuries and the scousers have very few, Mane hasn’t been injured for 3 years ffs. Can’t help but feel as though there’s something not right somewhere, mentality-wise.

I remember VVD being injured quite a lot for Southampton, particularly in his last season when he had that big injury - can’t remember him missing any time at all for Liverpool since joining them. Mentality is huge.

Listening to all the pre-match build up in various places...it’s so sad to hear the presenters and callers and anyone involved taking the piss out of our club and absolutely loving it. We’ve been hated but admired over the years but this week I’ve never heard so many people wallowing in our demise.

Taking Liverpool down a peg or two is essential, the arrogance of their fans is sickening right now the absolute bastards.

I expect a 0-0. Liverpool are not great at breaking down inferior sides with 10 men behind the ball. Our defence is good, which should make it harder. Klopp, will then dance around after the match like a demented idiot, just like when he played Mourinho's side, blaming Solskjaar for sitting back.

Nerves are starting to creep in. We have no excuse not to win but it’s the biggest game and stupid mistakes lead to stupid goals.

Usually when 3/4 say we're going to lose, it's a piss take because we lost to someone shite the week before. This time I think they all believe it.

We are threadbare because of a clueless manager who has gutted the squad.

We are going to lose easily and he will still be in charge because Woodward has given it large this week.

How utterly depressing this club has become.

It will be a close game until Liverpool score.
If LFC score first, I don't see us getting anything out of this.
As others have said, this is 11 vs 11, so anything can happen, but we are so spineless under Ole (under Jose we made several comebacks, but under Ole, we never make a comeback) that if LFC score a goal, we'll fold.

Going off who i think is available.....

    Romero
    Axel.....lindelof....Maguire.....Young
    Matic.....Mctom
    Mata....Lingard....James
    Rashford

    What I hope for.......433

    Romero
    Dalot.....Axel....Maguire.....Young
    Matic
    Fred.....McTom
    Andreas........James
    Rashford

Fully expecting United to fire on all cylinders for Liverpool and give everyone a shock just to then return to Mediocrity next game. Sigh.

Klopp's been adding a few odd soundbites, trying to suggest United fans wrote stuff like articles saying the combined 11 would be all Liverpool. Yeah, that really boosts our cause!

Really hope we can wipe the smug off his mug.

We are 19/5 to win tomorrow. At home.

    Disgraceful.
But looking at the state of the XI we'll be putting out, fair.

The disgrace is that it's got to a point where this is what we have.

If we win, I'm going to celebrate it like a title.

Probably be the only highlight of the season so may as well enjoy it

    I think Lingard's still injured.

    Reckon this'll be the lineup:

    Romero
    Tuanzebe Lindelof Maguire Young
    McTominay Matic
    Pereira Mata James
    Rashford

Just typing out that line-up is depressing.

I feel like this will be the game where borefest happens (from the point of view of ManUtd) because We haven't got enough quality up front and is better at defending than attacking.

This will be your typical game under Mourinho. Either We keep defending and not let one in, or let one in and open the floodgate.

We’ve not really had the personnel. Having just 1 slow player ruins the whole press, and Mata has had lots of game time recently.
Yeah, we haven't been pressing with any real effect since as far back as the Wolves game when we last had our best first eleven available. We looked like a decent outfit back then, a far cry from the shitshow our depleted team have shown in the more recent games.

The majority of the squad severley lacking in confidence isn't helping regards pressing either. Rashford especially, as he is one of our hardest workers on his day.

Regardless of the injuries, OGS and Woodward need to take the blame for allowing our squad to be this poor.

    Unacceptable.

Going to be listening to the game tomorrow on 5LIVE.
My only hope is Rob Green isn't co-commentating. He sounds like death at the moment.

We are in a terrible place right now. Hopefuly this match will provide the much needed boost and set us on a run that would enable us consolidate a top 4 place. There is no better time than now when Spurs slumber and Chelsea are inexperienced.

Mane last season just blew me away with fitness and stamina. Last Game against wolves he was like it was game 1 of the year.

He's either a serious freak of physical specimen or he's on PEDs.

Never seen anyone like him for durability

I'd be happy with a point and a good performance. May be a goal or two.
