Hope we get spanked. I want no excuses for keeping Solskjaer as manager.
Look. I understand what you mean. But no Manchester United supporter should ever want the team to get spanked, especially by the pool.

Why? I have paid a lot of money to watch Manutd play. If a loss will secure Solskjaer's sacking, I am all for it. Short term loss, long term gain.

At the moment, I am paying to watch absolute dross. It needs to change and I believe a loss will do it.
Tell me how this works? Was the same thought with Moyes, van gaal and mourinho and none have worked.

Bet you're one of these who done an IQ test online once and think you're Einstein levels of genius.

I never understand this sort of mentality. So say we get a win. What next? Do you hope we lose the next game? And if we win that do you just keep hoping for a loss?

    Odd mentality.
Because I cannot see how any win could be anything but lucky. With how we have played so far, can you really say otherwise?

We cannot score goals and are conceding a goal per game on average. This is why. I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

If we, surprisingly, actually played well, it will be an aberration to the norm. It still would not want me to keep Solskjaer.

If Solskjaer hasn't indeed held any tactical sessions to prepare for Liverpool, something should be done about it...

Judging by the outcome of our previous appointments, be careful what you wish for.

I agree we have been awful, but hoping for the scousers to spank us is ridiculous. I just dont get it.

Theories that some of the posters are opponents fan in disguise actually don't sound crazy reading some of the stuff here.

Fair enough, maybe spanked is a bit too much, but I just want a result that guarantees Manutd from separating paths with Solskjaer.

Manutd are just so painfully bad to watch that it is now a desperate situation. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Knew I would get replies like this. Should I be excited about the possibility of luckily getting a point against Liverpool and keeping the worst manager I have ever seen at Manutd?

Short term loss, long term gain.

Also, if I was a Liverpool fan I would want Manutd to keep Solskjaer. Use your head, Samid.
There is no way a United fan would hope for the team to lose against Liverpool in this situation. That will put them 8 points clear at the top.

What difference does one game make to them? They will still be 5 points clear and challenging for the title. Even if we did win, Liverpool still have the bragging rights.

The improvement of Manutd is my concern, not some one-off result that has little bearing on our seasons.

Perfectly understandable my friend. But think how good you will feel if we manage to beat them. Let's live for today.

Wanting the team to lose so we can switch managers is certainly a train of thought I can understand but come on lads. This is Liverpool. They must be beaten. Regardless of our situation.

Seriously? I am guessing you are one of those people who bought into the myth that it is insulting, even though shortening Manchester United's name has probably existed since the change.

Strange argument, I am clearly just being lazy.

About time they had a significant injury with Salah out by all accounts. Origi probably Central with Firmino on the right.

No one expects us to win. Not even expect a shot on target. Imo we'd grab a point here atleast. Underdogs status suits us to a t

I read some stuff on here and wonder what the world has come to. United “fans” wanting us to get beat today? Think some of you should go support some one else to be honest.

    Basically he’s talking rubbish ?
You think he’s talking rubbish because he questions the authenticity of fans who want our club to lose to our fiercest rival? Sure.

I want us to win but not for Ole's sake, because the sooner he goes the better.

No, I want us to win for City's sake in the title race.

How desperately shite does that make our situation? But that's what happens when you have a self destructive board who hire incompetent no marks as fall guys.
